At first they were fun, then they got old after they kept doing them over and over again.

On GSN, they always do that. People call it "rerun abuse" when a game show's tapes have been showed for a large amount of times.
I personally dislike 'em because all of the celebs reach the $64,000 level or more. I think it is because they are charities that make such high amounts of money won on Celeb millionaire.
The only exception was the "Super Bowl Sunday" millionaire where they ask very hard questions to diehard football fans.
P.S. How is PMing done? Keep it to the contestants' editions. Just plain Millionaire

I agree.
Check the Ask the Administration thread for my response for the PMing thing.

Only celebrity version I absolutely hated was Celebrity II (I liked all the others). Norm Macdonald COULD have been the first celebrity to win a million dollars for his charity.
But NOOOOOO. Regis tempted him to back out, and he was gonna nail it, and then all of a sudden, he goes, "Just give me the half-million." And after he guessed, he found out that he would have been RIGHT.
Oh, the agony of walking away from the MDQ, only to find out you would have nailed it.

That one made me sick to my stomach the first time I saw it! Poor Norm, he could have had it.....

Nope, never. To Regis' credit, Norm was risking a lot of charity money on a hunch, so I could understand why he was nervous, but if hadn't said anything Norm would have won the top prize.

I didn't like the Celebrity Editions very much, I think normal episodes were better.

Ya know I don't think that I have ever seen a celebrity edition of millionaire, I think mostly because I usually don't like the celebrity editions of any game show, I don't know why but I just don't lol. So I think I just decided to not watch them. But if I would have known that norm macdonald was on, I probably would have watched just because I like norm

I only watched them for laughs, and even then the humor wasn't great. It was funny to hear Rosie scream "THIS MIGHT BE ME!" during the final Fastest Finger, and I chuckled at a lot of Ray's stuff.

I personally dislike 'em because all of the celebs reach the $64,000 level or more. I think it is because they are charities that make such high amounts of money won on Celeb millionaire. I believe each celebrity's charity was guaranteed a minimum of $32,000 no matter how the celebrity actually performed. That's why the celebrities were allowed a little more, er, "leeway" in terms of help from the other celebrities for the first questions.
