At the moment I'm developing a fan game to share here and among my friends (I'm not planning to share on the Internet). As I'm using original cues, game format, lifelines etc. from the game, I'm worrying about any copyright stuff. My worries rose after I see a forum topic saying if I share my game that will be a copyright violation. What's your thought? I need some help. Thanks!

It's not really a problem unless you try to use your game for commercial purposes, meaning you can't sell the game or make money from it through advertising and such. The details are certainly more complicated than that, but you should be fine.

I'm not planning any commercial uses of my game, that means there should be no problem then. Got it, thanks.
