Hello people, I would like to share to you about an episode of the local version of Millionaire that I'd watched. I had already been aware in this forum about a thread or two that talked about the host screen details. I read and saw them but I thought there's something missing. When I watched the this episode, it confirmed everything. I'm pertaining to the notes below the rectangles. These might be guides to the host especially about certain reminders during the game and some extras... 1. In this photo, during the first milestone question, the host screen read something that said " Pakantahin ang contestant" ( Let the contestant sing")2. Most of the questions starting question 6, the famous question, "IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?" appears on the screen to let the host be reminded to ask it to the player. Usually on higher tier questions, the note, " CUE TO GAP AFTER LOCKING IN" or "CUE TO GAP AFTER THE QUESTION"appeared on the screen perhaps letting the host know that should the player give a final answer, the host should give a suspenseful pause before giving the correct answer and do a commercial break.. On this photo, the note says, PAG SUMAGOT KA AT TAMA 100,000 PAG MALI BALIK SA 20,000
(IF YOU ANSWER AND IT IS CORRECT, GUARANTEED 150,000
IF WRONG, RETURN TO 20,000)In this photo, it shows the note: PAG MALI BALIK 20,000
PAG TAMA, ASSURED 150,000
(IF WRONG, RETURN TO 20,000 IF RIGHT ASSURED 150,000)Pertinent information about the question is seen after the contestant locks an answer... The host is also cued to remind lifelines and winnings especially when the player struggles to give an answer... In the host screen below, the details read; 'AGAIN PAG MALI, BALIK SA 150,000 PAG TAMA 600,000 KUNG NAG-AALANGAN PWEDENG IUWI ANG 400,000" (AGAIN IF WRONG, YOU'LL RETURN TO 150,000 IF RIGHT,600,000 IF YOU'RE IN DOUBT, YOU CAN TAKE HOME 400,000)When the contestant was sure of the answer to the question, the details in the screen read, "ANG BILIS NG PAGKAKASAGOT-TANUNGIN KUNG BAKIT..."
(HE WAS QUICK ON ANSWERING-ASK WHY...)And when he gave the final answer, the screen prompted: "WHY DID YOU RISK YOUR WINNINGS? MOMMY, ANO SA TINGIN NYO?"
And when the contestant won 1,000,000 , the host screen was prompted with the message: "ASK MOMMY IF OK LANG SIYA' (ASK MOMMY IF SHE'S OK)Because the when the contestant was interviewed, it was revealed that her mom had a heart problems when the contestant struggled for the final question worth 2 million pesos, the host screen prompted: "OFFER CHECK" Another instance, the host screen read something like ; "AYAIN ANG CHEKE' (OFFER THE CHECK)And his final question, "IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?"It was a fun game yet, provided to expose some secrets to the details behind what goes on the host screen... there was another episode of the Philippine version that the entire host screen was exposed in the telly while in the whole game as opposed to this one which only the left side is visible, but I couldn't find it...I'll try to look for it..
