I am planning to make my own RPG on a game show.
The question is what game show do you want me to host in Creativity?
The game show with the most votes will be the game show I do. (I have not made a poll because I do not want you to be limited to just a few options)
EDIT: I will edit this post so you (mostly myself) can keep track of the vote count.
The one that you most prefer will get 3 points. The second one preferred (if you choose to include a 2nd preferred game show) will get two points and the third most preferred (if you choose to vote for a third game show) will get 1 point.
The game show with the most points will get to be hosted by me and then contestant applications will open in another thread in Creativity.
Total vote count so far Deal or no Deal - 5 points 1 vs 100 - 3 points Brainest - 3 points Russian Roulette - 2 points Million Pound Drop - 1 point Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader - 1 point
Any game show I do not know the rules off by heart, I will research on the Internet for those rules. So any game show (that is not Millionaire) can be voted on.

Have your top three picks (from most preferred to least preferred) if you like but you don't need to do that.
Just one vote for one game show will be sufficient and will count towards the final vote.

Here is my Top 3 in Eurovision-style French announcement. Bonsoir, ausgameshowfan. Ici jceurovision dans Antipolo City, et voici les résultats des votes du jury Philippine ... Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, 1 point. Deal or No Deal, 2 points. Et finalement, 1 vs. 100, 3 points. Ceci termine les votes du jury philippine.

I will wait until at least a few more people vote and then I will start applications for contestants.

ausgameshowfan , do we have to specify the version of the show because there are some versions like Deal or No Deal USA Format has different rules from the UK version?? Or like 1 vs 100 with American rules from 1 vs 100 from the Dutch version? Or like Russian Roulette from USA rules is different from Russian version of the show...?? These are not votes...just asking...

Good question (and something I should have addressed at the start)
I guess what I could do is if a particular game show gets the most votes and that game show is known to have many variations around the world, I would take the various versions I can think of that game show onto an actual poll in this thread and then ask the public for their choice in which version.

Ok thanks...By the way, if 1 vs 100 succeeds to be an RPG gameshow, how could you possibly conduct that? That could be good and could bring a lot of interactivity here? but it's gonna be tedious...

If 1 vs 100 does end up to be the most votes, I would get a number generator to assign an amount of incorrect mob members to each question.

Ok...that solves it...I was thinking if you will have 100 people from this forum to join...That could be fun, but it will be hard to monitor I guess

No way I would get 100 people from this forum to join. I need to be realistic.
Edit: I am not saying real people interacting with each other is not realistic. The unrealistic part is getting 100 real people to be the mob.

Hey...having real people interacting together is realistic... Generating numbers from a randomizer is a little horrid... But in terms of getting more than 100 people opening this site is just record breaking... But I'll be realistic, it will be easier if you'll do with a randomizer because it just avoids tediousness of the RPG host and backstage crew to monitor a lot of people.... I'm not complaining, just having my opinion...

I am now going through the plans for each of the (so far) voted game shows as if they do indeed become the one with the most points after the votes are stopped counted on.
If Deal Or No Deal hangs on as the game show with the most points, I will choose to use a mix of the UK and US versions.
The mix would consist of the American money tree with 26 cases and the case picking associated with a typical 26 case episode. The UK part would consist of what I would call "Case 27". Gives you a chance to double your money like what the UK does with "Box 23".
1 vs 100 would likely consist of a previously mentioned generator to help make realistic mob choices. Maybe I would ask the question writer to assign an incorrect mob member amount to each question?
Russian Roulette to be frankly honest with everyone, I have never seen a full episode before of it. But if it is the one with the most points at the end, I will research the rules beforehand online, and then decide how to operate the game exactly.
Million Pound Drop had a Aussie version called Million Dollar Drop. Same exact format I believe but would need to double check online if this is the most voted on.
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? would be a show that I myself would research 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade questions and use some of the questions for the RPG.
Would need someone to act as a student helper throughout the RPG (I am familiar that more than one student gets to be the helper to the contestant but for simplicity sake, only one forum member for the "Student Helper" if 5th Grader is the game that's to be played.
Any game show (even ones that are not mentioned in this post) can still be voted on.
You do however have less then 24 hours left before the counting of the votes stops.

Voting has closed. Looks like Deal Or No Deal wins the vote.
In a few moments you will see a new thread in Creativity for the Deal Or No Deal RPG I will be hosting.
