Minute to Win It---
A game show of luck and skill that uses ordinary household items to perform challenges to win as much as P2,000,000.
This game will return on Philippine airwaves this July 18, 2016. It will be done on a daily basis from Monday to Friday.
Here's a preview of it:
Minute to Win It Preview
When I saw a commercial of it on TV, I noticed it was like a combination of "Last Man Standing" format and the "Teams format" of the UK with a bit of tournament style.
According to the preview above, here are the rules:
1. On Mondays and Wednesdays, seven players – different celebrities and personalities from different fields and even ordinary Kapamilya Players – will clash in a series of five challenges with no time limit, using only ordinary objects that can be found at home.
The player who is last to accomplish or cannot finish the challenge will be eliminated after each challenge, until only two players remain.
2. These players will go straight to the Head-to-Head Challenge on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where they will again battle it out in five nerve-wracking challenges. The competition will be kicked up a notch because each challenge is timed at one minute and has a corresponding cash prize.
The player who gets the bigger amount of cash will play the Ultimate Challenge, where he or she will be given the chance to win the P1 million-jackpot prize.
3. The lucky winners from Tuesday and Thursday will also get to raise more money as they will face off in another thrilling Head-to-Head Challenge on Friday.
The player who emerges victorious will be named the “Ultimate Last Man Standing.” And in a single week, one lucky player can get as much as P2 million if he successfully fulfills two Ultimate Challenges.

My commentary:
I just feel meh at it since it can be hugely successful if it's going to be thrilling for the audiences with the new set of "complex" rules or will be a huge flop since mostly celebrities will again take part on the show...
The public just cannot stand the lack of opportunity and overexposure of celebrities on the shows
All I can say is this...
The network ABS-CBN doesn't really give much chance for the public to try out their game/reality shows.
Citing examples with the following Philippine versions of game/reality shows in ABS-CBN in which the players were entirely celebs...
1. Deal or No Deal-Host: Luis Manzano (2012-2015)
2. Family Feud-Host: Luis Manzano (2016-)
3. Big Brother-Host: Mariel Rodriguez, Toni Gonzaga (2016-)
And did I mention that the Host for Minute to Win it is again Luis Manzano. (God...they cannot find other talents to host the program)
I am just utterly disappointed. At least with WWTBAM hosted by Vic Sotto on TV5 (A Rival network) is doing a great job at letting the public earn and win some cash prizes. And when Family Feud was aired on GMA (Another rival network), the players were ordinary families. I just can't stand the unfairness of this scenario and that I cannot stand that celebrities are the only ones shown on TV daily.
