Hello, I've bought After Effect some months ago, and I'm trying to use it decently. So I made a WWTBAM graphics video, so tell me what do you think about!

(There was already someone who voted "nope", so tell me why you find this bad if you want haha)

It's a good start so far. What you may want to focus on is that if this is indeed for the television or webvideo, you may want to shrink the size of your overlay so that it is sized up along the bottom of the screen and not 1/2 of the screen like you did. But otherwise, it's a good start.

Also, you should credit osswmi, as pretty much everything barring the sounds in your video is from his Classic Controller. And I think, personally, that the graphics are too big. The graphics should take up anymore than one third of the screen really, as otherwise they can impede on the footage of the game, or set, or whatever would be there.

I agree that the graphics are way too big. The graphics should take maybe about a quarter of the screen.

If osswmi is FlaminOne in YT, I credited him in the description of the video. Yes, I will reduce the size of the graphics. Thanks for your advices!

To get a point of reference, get a screen grab from either a US episode or a UK episode, depending on what dimensions you're going to use for your controller.

The graphics definitely take up may too much space, it would be better to take it more optimized for the Widescreen aspect ratio.
Other than that, it looks fantastic. By the way, i think that's the first time I saw a British pound version of what the US used to use for a money tree.

Looks good so far! Other than a couple fixes with the graphics everything looks good. I remember when I started using AE to animate graphics. Its not too hard to do neither a big learning curve unless you want to do the US version with the light going across and timers.

Here is the new version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRr3C_IV4GgPS: I like creating some money trees so I'm doing whatever with the money tree, sorry haha PPS: The video is in 480p due to bad connection but the original project is in 1080p. I added some new improvements, like the correct answer "flashing" three times, but now it's not with the music... It's not a problem.

I started out having 15 or 30 text layers for all the numbers. I discovered that there was an expression that allows time to count up or down. With the timer effect on the sides of the main text I made 3 layers inside of AE. The background where the white transitions in was a rounded rectangle and the white was on both sides. I used the linear wipe effect I believe to do the transition. Here's mine 6 years ago.

Interesting, thanks for your advices. Did you made your graphics or you picked them to another guy?

----- Btw, nice work you've done so far, but I'm sure that you can improve yourself. Keep it up.

Yeah...that was an interesting time back then. How I acquired the graphics originally is a bit of a long story. Just making it clear that I was like 12 or 13 when that happened.
