I have to say that I'm not a baseball fan like what the Americans crazed, but this is for the ages. Who would have thought that the Chicago Cubs, the "lovable losers", FINALLY broke a spell for 108 years?! They won against Cleveland, 8-7, but on the extra inning.
The last time Chicago Cubs won was in 1908, no television, no computers, no radio, there are Model Ts, no sliced bread, population in America at almost 88 million, Theodore Roosevelt was president, I mean, seriously, World War I never happened yet.
It has been for about four to five generations ago since that happened, but in the end, they ended the "Curse of the Billy Goat".
I agree to most of the sports commentators that it is the greatest game seven of ALL TIME.
In the words of Al Michaels, "Do you believe in miracles?! YES!!!"

I am not a baseball fan either but I believe the Chicago Cubs were the team mentioned in Back To The Future Part 2. Almost spot on with that prediction, just off by 1 year.

This guy made the exact prediction in his high school yearbook, graduating in the class of 1993.
