Hello everyone,
I really didn't think I would share this (due to my fear that I'd get ridiculed) but here it is - a one-slide demo of my clocked WWTBAM PPTX 'game'. It's something which I started working on just yesterday, so this is the only slide I have done so far.
Initially, I used a 2016 format WWTBAM game I did myself for a school activity which I hosted, but its become obvious that people use up too much time. What would be a better opportunity to introduce my favourite format to the contestants?
Here it is. It's unlisted, so only you guys see it, and my awkward commentary is over the presentation as well.
Any criticism, advice or comments are appreciated!

EDIT: Background does belong to someone else; had to say it before someone else told me. If I ever do represent this presentation as my work, I will either use my own background or find and fully credit the creator.

It looks and works pretty good.
My only criticism would be all the control buttons at the bottom; it looks too cluttered. Making a nice user interface is much harder than it seems (trust me, I know!) One bit of advice to help declutter it: add appear/disappear animations to the buttons so they only appear when needed, and go away after you're done using it. Using this method you can stack buttons on top of each other, but only one would be visible at a time . . . the one that you need at that moment in time. For example: You can stack all the Double Dip answer buttons on the normal buttons. You can have them appear after you click on double dip, and then the answer buttons would disappear which would then reveal the double dip answer buttons.
Also, this is just a personal preference, but I think the color scheme for your money tree is a bit backwards. I think the bright blue should be used instead of the green indicating the values you have already earned. To replace the bright blue, how about a medium to dark gray, as if the bright blue light isn't on? The current circle could be a brighter orange, keeping with assuming these circles are lights theme.

Thank you very much for spending the time to answer!
The User Interface, in its current state, is just a first draft. What you said definitely makes sense and I'm almost certain that I will do that once I finish the game mechanics.
The money tree - I kept it blue because it's the original colour. As it also blends in to the background of my presentation, I kept it the same.
Thanks for your advice though, I definitely appreciate it!

I certainly like how this appears to play so far, but there a couple of little things which are bugging me a bit. It's already been mentioned about the money tree, but I would prefer to see something that stays true to the show: 'Lit up' blue circles for amounts yet to be won, and 'Switched off' blue circles for questions that have been answered, as well as dimmed text. I don't know if you're using text or images for the money tree, but if you're using text, I'd definitely suggest staying true to the show, but that's just personal preference. The second thing I'm not keen on is how you reveal the money won. A way I've replicated the clocked win effect in PowerPoint is like this: 1) On top of all the answer boxes, have a separate question box clone which is in line with bottom of the original box, and have the new box contain the text for the value earned. 2) After the correct answer has been revealed, make the 4 answer boxes and answer text quickly fly out to bottom. 3) Make the question text quickly fade. 4) Immediately after the text fades, set the question box to collapse downwards. 5) Set the money won box to stretch downwards, and set it to after previous, so that it begins once the old box is gone. 6) Select the money text, and give this the split vertical out animation, with a time of 0.25 seconds, and set it to appear after directly after the money box. 7) You can then play around with timings to make it fit with the music to give the desired effect. I hope this has helped you, and I look forward to seeing this project grow.
