Hi guys!
As some of you may have noticed, for the past 20 days my activity on the site has been virtually nonexistent. I intend to become an active member of the community again, so I thought I would just explain to everybody what has been, and is kinda still, going on, in case I disappear again.
As I've said about 50,000 times now, 2017 is my GCSE year, which obviously means a lot of revision, preparation, etc... I'm not struggling too much, but often I don't really have the motivation to revise anything, which can be quite annoying. One of the reasons I've had some time away from this site is simply because I've been forcing myself to revise. This might not sound like the best idea, but it is actually helping. Now that I'm finding it easier to revise, I don't have to force myself to do it, so therefore I can use some time to check in here.
Also, my social life isn't exactly the most stable at the minute, which hasn't helped that much. I'm not very popular within my year, but I do still have some great friends. Recently though, my best friend hasn't exactly been himself, and we did have quite a bad falling out, but we're okay again now. I know that isn't relevant to why I haven't been active on this site recently, but as someone who's suffered from mental health problems before, and this person having been my best friend for almost 2 years, I can't help but be a little worried, which can make me quite sad, or very impatient. I'll apologise in advance if I do come across quite mean or rude in the coming months.
I may disappear again for a while as the exams come closer, or if something else happens, but I'll try and give warnings in advance in case I have any commitments I won't be able to complete.
I'd also like to use this as a quick opportunity to just update everyone on what I will be working on in the few hours a week of spare time I get.
So obviously I've stated my interest in doing an online version of The Chase. This is still going to go ahead, although I just cannot get my head around creating the software, but I might dedicate a day or so of half term in building some sort of structure which I could then build around after my exams are complete in June. In terms of Chaser auditions, I've nearly finished the first part of the audition process, so if you're interested in being a part of the Chaser Team, keep an eye out.
I also have the intention of hosting more than just The Chase. I am planning to do some other game shows, such as Millionaire, Wheel of Fortune and possibly Only Connect. (That's a very nerdy BBC2 quiz show, if you didn't know already.) Because of this, I'm also considering maybe using a 'Live Studio' platform to make the show more realistic. If anybody has anywhere they know of that I can do this, please let me know! I am also thinking of recording these games and creating edited episodes to put onto YouTube, but I'd like some advice from somebody who's informed on the subject to tell me what I can and can't do without possible infringing on copyright laws.
My Super Millionaire RPG in creativity will continue, although videos will not for a bit, at least. Anybody involved over there, stand by!
I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read this, and I'm looking forward to getting involved with Millionaire again, and yes, that is my Final Answer.
