This show, which premiered shortly after the success of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on the FOX TV network, has intrigued me since it was taken out of production so soon after it premiered. I would explain the rules, but I'm sure most of you know the jist.
My question is, why did it only last six months? I thought in retrospect it was a big success and can't see any reasoning behind the abrupt cancellation. I really liked the format back when I first saw it, as well as now in retrospect. It's a shame nobody won the $2 million, I would like to see a revival in the hope that "the richest, most dangerous game in America" can crown a jackpot winner. Also, what was your favorite moment from Greed, if you have one of course? =)

My favorite moment would have to be Dan Avila's run to the $2.2 Million jackpot - unfortunately, he failed to get the last answer to claim the prize. Still, it was an awesome moment. Curtis Warren's Million Dollar Moment is a close second. As far as cancellation, it would probably have to be one of two things, the show was too rich money-wise, or low ratings, seeing as though Millionaire was still very much white hot in primetime.

The story I heard was that when Fox's other big money quizzer, "It's Your Chance of A Lifetime," bricked in the ratings, Fox decided it hated the whole genre, and "Chance" and "Greed" were both canceled.

Found this fanmade promo some time ago. It doesn't need to be syndicated, it needs to be revived, period. That said, who do you think would make a good host for the potential revival?

Well, first of all, you bumped a post that was older than 45 days (actually 395 days), without providing any actual discussion that would warrant bumping the post to begin with, which means you broke one of the forum rules.
Second, Chuck's political commentary has pretty much ruled him out from ever getting a job with a major network again.

First of all, I don't care about the forum rules.  I did provide discussion that warranted bumping it. Not quite, but you could’ve easily done so just by explaining why you think Chuck Woolery might be a good host for the hypothetical revival. It might have been difficult to make such a case, but no doubt it would have been more worth a shot than the replies you have instead given us... |

At first glance, this thread was comical to me. After further investigation, it seems there were some posts deleted, both by our spammer and veteran members. What's particularly concerning to me, however, is that we had a veteran member here, who should absolutely have known better, engage in behavior that has resulted in a 30 day suspension. No matter how annoying a spammer is, nobody on this site, newbies and veterans alike, will be allowed the tollerance to suggest another member join a terrorist group.
