Some weeks ago, I've heard about a new gameshow coming up on TF1. And here it is : The Wall : Face au mur
Starting on Monday 27, it will remplace Money Drop. I've read that the France was one of the very first countries to have an adaptation of this U.S. concept. This gameshow will be hosted by Christophe Dechavanne. In the french version, contestants could win up to € 1,5 Million with this 12 meters height wall, with ' probably' the same rules. Here's a video showing the construction :
I can't wait !

I've still not seen The Wall, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was taken off the air later this year.

Any changes between the US and French versions? No, the 3 rounds are exactly the same and there's the final decision with a contract. Only thing that change is obviously the amounts played by round.

I think it's a bad idea to relive a dead thread, but I think I must do it.
The Wall is coming to Spain! It will be aired on Telecinco's prime time slot, and will be presented by none other than Carlos Sobera!
It will also be recorded on the set that TF1 uses for the French version in Paris.

Have you an idea how will be the potential top prize on the Spain version ?

Well, I have a very bad memory. Should have told you when the Spanish version premiered. Oh well. ^^' (sorry for bumping!) Anyway, the Spanish version premiered on June 23, 2017, at 10:30PM GMT +2. Presented by Carlos Sobera (I missed him!), The Wall offers a total prize money of €1,374,995 (€90,000 if the isolated contestant signed the contract). While Germany shows two couples of contestants in one episode, Spain shows only one per episode. The maximum total prize money ever won in the show has been €202,819 (S01E02). Only two couples of contestants have left the show with €0 (S01E03, S01E03). Series 1 will have 12 weekly episodes, ending on September 8, 2017. The only thing I dislike - too much talking. Episode 1 is here. www.telecinco.es/thewall/The-Wall-COMPLETO-HD_2_2391930243.html
