So I like a TV show in the UK called Robot wars for the following reasons: 1 The robots are always a joy to watch when they work and the ones that don't are smashed up.
2 Craig was very fun and lively during hes tenure
3 The revival hosts are funny and genuinely inserted in Robotics
4 Johnathan Pearce
What are your thoughts on the show

I've never seen it nor heard of it. The only impression that I get from this post is that Robot Wars is a competition between two robotics teams to see which of their robots can destroy the other. Generally I've never found these things to pique my interest. Now, what does Jonathan Pearce do for the show?

He is the Commentator for all of the seasons. It would not be he same without him.

I did watch an episode of Robot Wars recently, and honestly, it was probably one of the most boring hours of my life. It all seemed a little pointless, thinking that people have spent hours and hours building these machines just to go and get them destroyed at the hands of another robot didn't appeal to me. At least Dara O'Brien's a good host I guess. Also, who's Charles? You're going to need to elaborate on that one. EDIT: Peachfanclub, Pearce is probably most well-known for his commentary of Match of the Day and the BBC's live football coverage. I did recognise his voice when watching Robot Wars, but it doesn't feel right for me not hearing him talk about football.

Craig Charles is the host of series 2-7 and was a great host for the show, even if he did get a bit too hammy in the later seasons

I really love the Revival and I am happy they kept the spirit of the show alive with a big fan (Dara) hosting it and I love the new format where you have to be consistent instead of lucky.

Indeed. Take Carbide for an example of this, It would have been out in an older series but now we truly get to see it's potential as a amazing spinner like hypno-disc.
