I'll start this one. It's really hard to choose, as I like each and every chaser for what they have to bring to the table, both in terms of personality and in the unique prowess that each one possesses. But if I had to choose, it'd have to be Brydon "The Shark" Coverdale. First off, this man is as sharp as a tack, seeing that he's been on several game shows before becoming a chaser, such as Sale of the Century, Letters and Numbers (the Aussie version of the popular UK game show Countdown), and Million Dollar Minute. He's very knowledgeable in a wide range of topics, and can intimidate even the smartest of players. Also, seeing as he's worked for ESPNcricinfo, even though I'm not into Cricket myself, it adds another mark in my book. Anne "The Governess" Hegerty comes a close second. On camera, she's as cold as ice, but off, she's a sweet, down-to-earth person. I've had the privilege of speaking with her a few times over Twitter, and she's an absolute sweetheart. So, I want to know: Who's your favorite chaser and why?

I would have to say, in terms of personality and chaser knowledge. Mine would have to be Issa, the supernerd Schultz. He is a nice person, plus is a great and gracious chaser. Despite the job he has to do, he really treats this show well. And the contestants he tries to make em feel at ease too. In terms of personality wise, off the show. He is very sweet, i am a personal friend of his. On twitter, and facebook, when ever he has his account open. We are both video game / nintendo nerds, + big hardcore game show fans. He loves wheel of fortune jeopardy, and anything quiz based.

As I'm familiar only with the U.S. version, the Beast has to be my favorite. He's like a gentle giant; he may look menacing but apparently the kids love him. I'll give the Governess an honorable mention for saying "every time we get an answer right, we get a biscuit!"
Why should I watch the Australian version? Isn't the UK version still on the air?
