This is my first post in the Creativity section, and I'm pleased to say it's to present my own attempts at the logos from the British version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
All of these designs were done using Adobe Illustrator (for drawing out the basics) and Photoshop (to add lighting, layer effects and blending effects), which all worked well in my opinion and I'm over the moon they did. I'm not one to brag, but I think I actually have produced something reasonably good, hence why I want it to be the first thing I show you.
But anyway, here they are in their true fashion of how they looked on the show. I have included backgrounds, although the purple background used on the 2007 and 2010 logos was taken from Google Images, therefore isn't my own design.
Hope you enjoy them and I'm open to any criticism you may have.
EDIT: refined the 2001 - 2004 logo as the internal border was too bright.
The original logo, used from the she show's debut in 1998 until some time in 2001.
The 2001 - 2004 logo.
Personally my favourite one the show used: the 2004 - 2007 logo. This logo saw the 'clover' change from green to yellow and the word 'MILLIONAIRE' being slightly squashed vertically.
The 2007 - 2010 logo, along with which came the new 12-question format, the change of music and new graphics. Strangely, this was the only logo to use the Copperplate font in the 'WHO WANTS TO BE A' sentence.
The fifth and final logo which the show used before being cancelled, lasting between 2010 and 2014. Along with this came the clock format - an element that caused players to be quick with their decisions and essentially forced them to use lifelines without having the time to think about the question given.
Sorry, logos based off the original game shows will NOT be distributed to users.
If you would like a customised logo for a themed event, say at school, I will be happy to give it a go.
