Have there been many occasions when the majority answer the Audience has gone with turned out to be wrong? I ask this because I watched a clip of the UK version and the contestant had used the ATA and the audience went the wrong answer. The clip is linked below youtu.be/ZLlmrSfQe4o

In 2016, the Nigerian contestant Chukwuma Eze went in the final question with the audience that was 100% wrong. millionaire.wikia.com/wiki/Chukwuma_EzeIn 2000, the Finnish contestant Timo Toivonen asked the audience in his 13th question. He also used '50:50' and 'Phone a Friend' during the question. However, the question turned out to be too difficult, so he decided to walk away. millionaire.wikia.com/wiki/Timo_Toivonen

On syndicated Millionaire, Meredith would note that sometimes the audience is not right, but often they are. But the majority did vote incorrectly on Lyn Payne's $1m question, as well as more infamously, Ken Basin's $1m question. It's just that one of them had the balls to trust the mob.

ATA is usually not the best lifeline to keep until later in the game, as there would be less of a chance of the audience being correct on the highest value questions.
