Over the past 19 years, we've seen many variations of the way Millionaire is played all around the world, from the traditional 15-question format to the Clock, Shuffle and Risk format, and even Hot Seat. Some offer more or less questions to answer to get the top prize, while others offer the chance at extra lifelines and even more money than normal. The question posed here is: of all the different formats that Millionaire has utilized internationally, which one is your favorite and why?

UK classic, obviously. Pretty much the most dramatic version there is alongside US clock. It's also what got the whole thing started.

For me, nothing screams Millionaire like the original format, considering it's what I grew up with. I did enjoy Super Millionaire a lot, but it was a remix/rerendition/whatever based on the original format, and it kind of needed that. I know the US hasn't had a millionaire in eight years but I think utilizing the risk format has the potential to break the game since people tend to not gamble with their winnings these days.

I'm starting to like Nigeria's version of the show because it's the only one to my knowledge that has kept all that makes the original UK 1998 format so great. They still have Fastest Finger, Hot Seat, the three original lifelines, and they write clear and concise questions for all the stacks.

I prefer new UK version as my country uses same version, total 12 questions, and 4 lifelines.

Well, I believe my favorite format is the UK Classic version of WWTBAM, since it is the original one that had been used for many years. It resembled what has made Millionaire so popular: the concept, the emotion and the whole individuality of the show.

I would also have to say the original UK Format. The US made a good attempt with the clock format, which wasn't that bad, but nothing will ever replace the original.

The UK format for sure. Many international formats like that of my country...the Indian format, follows the UK format.
The US format is also great, although I personally feel that it lacks emotion..the intensity...for some reason...I don't know.
