So this is something that I've been meaning to try out. It's a weekly run game where each week has five questions and a running score for the whole week. Here's an explanation of the rules:
RULES/GAMEPLAY:
Every day at a set time, I will post a normal Millionaire question. PM me your answers within 24 hours. If you post your answer publicly, your answer won't count and it could actually help out the others playing. Everyone starts off with $1,000 just for answering a question. If your answer is right, you move one step up the money tree. Get all five questions right, and you win $32,000.
But you might ask: "Futuregshost, I want big money! Thirty-two thousand is peanuts! It's called Weekly Millionaire!" Well, hold on. If you are the first person to send me the correct answer, I'll move you two steps up the ladder. However, if you answer a question incorrectly, you lose all the money that you've accumulated so far and you'll have to earn your $2,000 again. If you don't want to risk it, you can choose to walk away and not answer the question. You'll still start over, but you will earn the money that you have banked by walking away. If you don't submit an answer, it will be treated as if you walked away.
There is one lifeline at your disposal: 50:50. If you choose to use it, you will have 50% of your earnings thus far taken away, banked or otherwise. You cannot use this lifeline if you don't have any money, and getting a question right will only increase your winnings by as much as if you hadn't used the lifeline (e.g., if you had $8,000 and got the question right, you would lose $4,000 for using the lifeline but get $8,000 for the right answer for a total of $12,000).
One last thing: you won't know if you or any other people got the answer right, wrong, or walked away until the revelation of the results on Saturday. The player with the most money in the quickest amount of time wins!
Without further ado, here is your first question! PM me the answer within 24 hours. Question two will be up tomorrow around 5 PM PDT.
(If you have any questions, please post them in this thread and they will be answered.)
