I still remember, it was 09th Oct'10, the fourth season of KBC (WWTBAM in India).
In that season the money tree was like this:
13 - INR 50,000,000 - THE JACKPOT QUESTION.
12 - INR 10,000,000
11 - INR 5,000,000
10 - INR 2,500,000
09 - INR 1,250,000
08 - INR 640,000
07 - INR 320,000 - SECOND SAFE HEAVEN
06 - INR 160,000
05 - INR 80,000
04 - INR 40,000
03 - INR 20,000
02 - INR 10,000 - FIRST SAFE HEAVEN
01 - INR 5,000
A man called Prashant Batar stormed his way to the hot seat, and got to 7th question quickly without using ANY lifelines at all.
Now he gets to 8th question. No lifeline. Win.
9th question. No lifeline. Win.
10th question. Now he uses expert advice. Wins.
11th question. No lifeline. Win.
12th question. Uses Audience poll. Uses phone a friend. No answer from both. Remembers some facts. Gives the correct answer. Wins INR 10,000,000.
13th question. Now the jackpot question. The top prize reward question. INR 50,000,000.
He still has a lifeline. The Double-Dip.
Thinks hard about the answer, but he has no clue about it.
His parents think he shouldn't play. The expert advises to quit if he doesn't know.
But he decides to go ahead.
He freezes the double-dip. The question cue changes.
Makes the first answer. Option C. It's wrong. A HORRENDOUS SOUND.
He still has one more opportunity. He goes for option B. It freezes. It is kept freezed. Commercial break.
The show resumes. But option B is also wrong. THE SAME HORRENDOUS SOUND AGAIN.
Right answer: Option A.
Oh god. I never heard that sound before. It gave me pure creeps. I still remember how every bit of the sound felt.
Not once, but twice.
GOD ALMIGHTY. I'd never want to listen to that score again.
ANYBODY ? Ever heard that cue ? How did you felt ?
