To begin with, I was going to go with YouTube myself, even though I’m not entirely sure what millionarefans3007 meant when he answered... That was in 2005, and I think the Nintendo Wii was released in either 2006 or 2007, so I think I’ll make that my answer please.

Ah d**n. Sorry about that, seems like I need to go back to primary school for a year or two!

Anyway, I think I remember seeing some posts online about it recently being the 9th or 10th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, which would put it in either 2008 or 2009. I can see at least one answer up there that’s definitely after that date.

I think I’ll go for Michael Jackson’s Death.

Wow, when you read those choices, you have to think of what year that event occurs. I thought about world history, but those choices before using the Freebie clearly stumped me a little, and those two answers have already selected. I never played "The Elder Scrolls V", but I think that's in the 2010s because the other four versions of it came before that, so I rule that out, and I know that Deepwater Horizon oil spill occurred in 2011, so that's out as well. I know Michael Jackson died in 2009, but that's before 2010 came, so that's not it. The one removed by the Freebie, "Toy Story 3", was in 2011.

The remaining choices were "Hurricane Ike makes landfall", "New England Patriots go 18-1", and "Original Apple iPhone introduced". I did recall that in 2007, New England would've had a perfect season, but they lost to New York Giants in the Super Bowl. I also know that when you say "Original Apple iPhone", you meant the very first one and I believe that's released before the 2007 Philippine midterm election.

Hurricane Ike...

That sounds very devastating, and I believe that was way before Katrina made its landfall in Louisiana, or before Ondoy hit Metro Manila. Ike was before Katrina, so I would say a 77% chance that it's got to be it. The two I mention occurred in 2007, and YouTube and Ike, I believe they occurred in 2005.

Ech. I have no idea about football - at least the kind Americans call football. I have plenty of idea about soccer, but unfortunately, I don't think the New England Patriots ever played that. So i have absolutely no idea about when that happened.

I do know about the other three, though. Skyrim had a pretty memorable release date - if I remember correctly, and I'm pretty sure I am, it was released on 11/11/2011. That puts it after the Deepwater Horizon spill, which should've happened somewhere around early 2010. The earliest event out of those three is the release of the original iPhone, which was some time in 2007, so the iPhone will be my choice.

Well, the Giants upset the Patriots in the 2007 Super Bowl, but Jackson died in '09, I believe. So which one do I take out...? YouTube was launched in like 2005, so that's probably the first. Skyrim has to be the latest, that was definitely after 2010.

Deepwater Horizon... wasn't that the BP one? That was also pretty late, so I think that one is out. The Patriots has to be one of the answers. I don't even remember Ike, the iPhone was '07, the Patriots was '07, but Jackson's death was in '09. I'm gonna pray that JCEurovision was right and keep Ike on the basis that it was in 2007 as well.

I'll take out Jackson's death and put in the Patriots.

From there, Michael Jackson died in ‘09, the BP disaster happened in ‘10, and Skyrim came out in ‘11. That’s a lot to take in, but you guys figured that out rather effortlessly, and now you’ve won a million dollars.

Hmm. This is a tough one to be honest, but not for the money reasons. This is kinda like a Weakest Link moment when you’re trying to vote off the person you think is less beneficial to the team.
