 Imagination Games, creator of the "Deal or No Deal" DVD Game, has been awarded the license to create a DVD game based off of the syndicated version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"! The game will retail for $19.99 and will feature Meredith Vieira as host. It will hit the shelves in Fall 2007! ------------------ This is fantastic news. Truly fantastic. This is what we fans have been yearning for a number of years now. I will pick this up as soon as I see it on the store shelves. Finally! Meredith hosts her own game- and a DVD game at that! |

Fantastic!!! I will purchase it on eBay as soon as it will appear there! Btw, did Regis hosted own DVD-version of Millionaire?

No, Regis' version never had a DVD game, mostly because the technology had not existed when his version was around. He did, though, host and appear live in about five PC games, and lent his voice to countless handheld games.
This is the first U.S. DVD Millionaire game, and I'm really excited for it.

from what the cover looks like, there's no switch the question lifeline in this one.

I think it's impossible to add the "switch" lifeline (making it randomly) using interactive DVD format.

The game has supposedly been released, but I cannot find it anywhere. I think it has special distribution through Target, so I'll check there this week. This thread will also serve as a sightings page- if you see the game, tell us.
