I think he does an excellent job. He brings a level of suspense to the show. Next, to Regis and Meredith, he is my favorite. I am glad that he took over for Terry Crews. He was probably my least favorite.

From what little I saw of new Millionaire, I must say Chris Harrison looks like a talented and exciting host. It’s a shame he wasn’t given the chance to host old Millionaire. This awful soundtrack doesn’t compliment his perfomance, on the contrary, in a way it undercuts him, removing from his ability to be bring suspense into the show. I also think that a host like him would have a lot to gain from more suspenseful lighting.

I really like Chris, I think he's a great replacement for Meredith. I know that he wasn't the direct replacement but since I haven't seen anything in between, he's as good as direct. The only thing that annoys me just a tad is when you say you want to use a lifeline, he wants you to confirm it by saying final answer. Unless the show's rules itself changed, I don't know, but that just feels a bit redundant. But he's a great suspension builder and overall very enjoyable host. It would be cool to see him host some sort of classic Millionaire where it was basically a throwback (ugh, did I really just use that term?) to the prime days of Millionaire. They really need to bring the hotseat back, then again, maybe there will be a 20th anniversary special? Although like the clock version was around that time and they used it, perhaps they'd just use what they already have now as it is.
