Hold up. Did I just read that correct? Did they really make a drama series about Charles Ingram and his Millionaire story? British TV never fails to be amusing. I guess you havent seen the promo?

Haha, no I haven’t. I live in the Netherlands, so I don’t really get that in my recommendations or anything :-)

I suppose it's alright because it's a holiday. I just hope the Clarkson version doesn't turn into the later Tarrant years where the episodes of Millionaire were celebrities, save for the people play episodes that aired on occasion. I much prefer civilian Millionaire to celebrity Millionaire, both in the U.S. and UK.

I much prefer civilian Millionaire to celebrity Millionaire, both in the U.S. and UK. The Tarrant-era celebrity overkill only happened because of declining ratings. As long as ratings stay high, I assure you, we won’t see history repeat itself.

Thank you, Most Wanted.
Charlotte did alright. I feel like this is a good test go put the stuff I've studied to the test, and vaguely remembered Hollandaise with Eggs Benedict. Is it me, or does Jeremy not know much American stuff? I think he got stumped on an American question before. It might've been the one about the Million Dollar Quartet back in 2018.
That second celebrity had a lot of guts. I had no idea Andre Agassi only won Wimbledon once in his career. I had a feeling the answer in £125,000 was D, but wasn't overly sure. I would've went with San Diego, though, if compelled to answer. If El Paso was a choice instead of San Antonio, that would've been tougher.
What's the controversy on the third celebrity? He didn't know it, per se. It wasn't 100 percent certainty. He listened to the audience. Even if he did set the safety net, would he have gotten it? If Jeremy gave him the wrong answer, or he got the next one wrong, alright, but he would've had to get it first, which he didn't.

WWTBAM UK returns for 6 nights straight, starting Sunday 10th May 2020 on ITV!
Clarkson in the teaser said "This is your question for 1 million pounds" and again the running gag "Are you coughing there? I havent asked the question yet" continues xDD

It seemed like Million Pound Questions under Chris were a rarity, and nothing at all after Ingram Wilcox won the jackpot in 2006. Now, Jeremy will have seen the Million Pound Question for the third time since taking over as host in 2018, and third since March 2019.
I’m curious what it is. Are contestants more knowledgeable? Are the questions easier? Does reducing the number of Fastest Finger contestants from 10 to six play a part in that? Perhaps it’s a combination of all three.
Whatever it is, I’m excited for the new series and I anticipate watching this person’s run, whomever they are.

Looking forward to it, hopefully we'll finally have another Million Pound Winner. Can remember Ingram's win like it was yesterday, can't believe it was so long ago. Long overdue a winner, hope it happens in this newest run.
