Thank you, MostWanted, as always. You do this community a great service. It is very much appreciated for someone like me in the States.
I've been busy this week. So, I guess I know what I'll be binge watching this weekend. It will be something to look forward to. Then I'll post my thoughts on the episodes.

I still haven't had time to watch any episodes yet, just YouTube clips here and there. Anyway, I'm really peeved about these articles I'm seeing about Andrew. metro.co.uk/2020/05/13/who-wants-millionaire-andrew-townsley-ms-house-2021-coronavirus-12695527/"Last night, Andrew became the first person to reach the final question on the quiz show in 14 years" www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/millionaire-contestant-progressive-ms-shares-22019573"Andrew was the first person to reach the final, million pound question on the show, now presented by Jeremy Clarkson, for 14 years." Did I wake up in some alternate universe or something where John Robinson and Davyth Fear do not exist? As both a professional journalist and a die hard Millionaire enthusiast, stuff like this just irks me. Anyway, I really wish he would have gotten it. I want there to be a millionaire soon. I was seriously thinking he was going to get it when I saw the video on his final question. I certainly had no idea because I never heard of the correct answer, being an American and all. So, there was no way I would have known that, even if it was a free guess, I would have picked an answer out of a hat if compelled to go for it in that spot. I do think, though, it's only a matter of when, not if, Jeremy has a millionaire. Obviously, contestants are taking risks and have the knowledge with three people seeing the Million Pound Question since March 2019. The virus spreading, and the likelihood of a second wave coming back is likely to damper things a big, but I remain ever the optimist that it will happen.

I think judging from that disappointed sigh when the question came up, I think Jeremy knew the answer and wished that Ask the Host was still there.

Thank you. How long will they be up? I can only speak for my recording, which is til the End of May. Then i will clean up my drive or move them somewhere else. In terms of the episodes that are on reddit.. not sure at all. These guys there collect literally everything that airs in the UK. I have no idea. So if you want to keep em, download em right now The more ppl store them, the easier it is to backup them once one WWTBAM UK archive crashes ^^

A long time ago I had contact with a bloke on Reddit that pretty much had every single WWTBAM episode since season 1 on a harddisk. It’s true they collect a lot, but that, that’s next level.

So with that the final episode is on the drive. Series 34 is now done. Enjoy watching the series of WWTBAM UK / I hope you enjoyed it.
I guess since current tapings are postponed it will be a while until new episodes come out.

Here are some thoughts I have.
- I do not see the last episode in this series. So, I cannot comment on that. Thank You, MostWanted for these.
- This series really shows the nature of this game that all it takes is for one question to make everything go haywire. Michael really had a lot of promise, winning 64,000 without touching a lifeline, only for him to walk. I cannot say that I blame him for walking when you consider the fact that the vast majority of the audience in the penultimate episode went for the International Space Station, only for Mir to be correct.
- I really wish Andrew would have gotten that Million Pound Question, what an amazing player he was and how touching. It's clear he has a lot of knowledge, and as mentioned, Jeremy knew that last question and wished Andrew phoned a friend on the Table Mountain question. I think Andrew said in an interview I read or saw that the Indy 500 being one of the choices really threw him off. He said that if the choices were all European races that he would've went for it.
- I also loved how lively the audience was in that episode. Often times, the UK audience is too reserved. I think of how exciting American audiences usually are. Brett McDonald had a great audience in Australia, and of course, the one Aroma had in Nigeria is in a class all by itself.
- This is just my opinion, but I honestly think people have gone for the 50:50 too early in this series. I mean, I suppose if there are one or two you know that are wrong, you might hope you get lucky with the 50:50, but honestly, if I could take one lifeline with me into the final question, that would be it. I also saw one contestant in this series who burned through their lifelines on questions they were leaning or had a feeling. I mean, on one hand it's better to be safe than sorry. It's just unfortunate that people didn't always trust themselves either.
- The penultimate one was tough to watch with the questions not going the way of the contestants at all. Then that one woman also won 125,000 I think in the fourth episode. I got her 250,000 question correctly, and would have taken a chance on Shakespeare plays being the highest. I figured it was either Shakespeare plays or Dickens novels. I know Shakespeare wrote around 46-48 plays as I was telling myself when I watched this last night. I also figured in the rapper question in the fifth episode, I'd have said Eminem, with Kanye being the other possibility, but I'm not a rap fan.
- Hopefully somebody did well on the final episode. With everything in limbo because of the virus, who knows the next time we'll see Millionaire taped? I'm hoping, just hoping, that finally somebody wins the Million on the Clarkson edition of the show. I think they're on a better pace than the Tarrant version, actually. It took an exact year before Jonathan Green won 250,000 in September 1999 and it wasn't equaled again until David Neale, followed by Peter Lee breaking through for 500,000. Then it took until November 2000 for someone else to equal him, and of course, Judith Keppel later in the month. Technically, it has been two years, but the show runs every few months, which is fine with me if that's what's going to prevent it from being run into the ground and viewers tuning out.
