If you look at episode guides for the syndicated version of Millionaire, most will tell you that Season 14 only had 174 episodes instead of 175 like all the other seasons. Season 14 actually did tape the usual 175, but one of these episodes went unaired.
One of the many special weeks that season was "Shriners Hospitals for Children" week, which was slated to air February 15-19, 2016. The first four shows featured contestants playing as normal with the show donating $10,000 to the charity any time somebody answered the $50,000 question correctly. Per a press release, the final episode on February 19 was to be a celebrity episode featuring Paralympic track star Blake Leeper playing for the charity.
However, on February 19, Millionaire instead aired a rerun of the Season 14 premiere with contestant Chris Cho, and episode guides show no episode listed for that date. The episode was pulled because Blake Leeper had taken cocaine shortly after the taping, and it was announced in early February that he was banned from Paralympics for a year.
Now, with Season 14 airing on Game Show Network and the ban being well over by now, Leeper's lost episode might see the light of day. Season 14 has been airing in order for the past couple of months and they are now on February 2016 episodes. When it comes time for February 19, there is instead a blank listing with no original air date or episode number listed. Then it picks back up with the February 22 episode numbered one past February 18.
The lost episode will likely be airing on GSN this Friday, March 2 at 3:30 PM Eastern and Pacific. I suppose there is a slight chance Millionaire kept the episode as an encore of the season premiere in their package leased to GSN, but then it would have likely said "Season 14, Episode 1", or they would have skipped straight to February 22. Also, TitanTV.com lists an original air date of 2/19/2016.
