I've had a horrible thought: the US version could be next! ABC might suddenly change their mind and revert to 12 questions! I can see it from here!
12 - $1,000,000
11 - $500,000
10 - $250,000
9 - $100,000

6 - $15,000
5 - $12,500
4 - $10,000
3 - $7,500
2 - $5,000
1 - $1,000

No, they still use the original music and graphics, but they do use the 12-question money tree.

I think a large part of why that format doesn't work for me is the changed music. It really kills the mood. The twelve question money tree is irritating, but I could learn to live with it.
