I've never heard of Foo Fighters, so I'll rule it out. I don't think Coldplay would get 22 Grammy's, since they're relatively new. My instinct is U2, because I don't think The Beatles craze really expanded far from UK. Plus, they were only active for about 10 years, while U2 are still going strong today. So I'll trust my gut and say D. U2, final answer.

How ironic.. I've read about Ireland just couple of days before the show. Pretty sure it said, that Irish Free State was founded in 1922, after the Irish War of Independence. So I'll say A: 1922, final answer.
