Post -------------- I've sent the remainder of the questions to exambolor , and he has been online since then, but hasn't updated the game. It's been 48 hours, so I'll temporarily take over just to keep things moving. -------------- End *Q5 Final Answer plays, Answer A turns orange.* Well, just over half of our audience went with the Netherlands, and that was enough for you... I can tell you now that those 52% are RIGHT, you're right, you've got $10,000! *Q5 Win Plays, Answer A turns green, audience cheer, lights come up and set turns orange* ------<$10,000>------*Q6 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* France won it in 1998. Argentina and Uruguay have both won it twice, actually, in 1978 and 1986, and in 1930 and 1950 respectively. The Netherlands haven't been the champions yet, but they have been runners-up three times. Now, you're doing fine so far. $10,000 at the moment, and you still that 50:50 and that Phone-A-Friend to help you should you need it. This is question 6 of 12 for $20,000: *Q6 Background music plays* In complex mathematics, the imaginary number used to represent the square root of minus one is represented by which letter? A: i B: j C: k D: l

I am not a genius when it comes to mathematics, but I think it is A. I'd like to make that my final answer. If it's not correct at least I had a great time playing.

*Q6 Final Answer plays, Answer A turns orange*
You had $10,000, and two lifelines left. Why have you gone with A?
Post ————— I think this has already been said, but I need an explanation to each of your answers please. Thanks! ————— End

I don't really have a great explanation. I just think that "i" means something in mathematics but I couldn't link the other letters to any mathematical term.

Post ————— realdeo asked to take over first, and so they are the new host! They will now continue the game from the current point, so they’ll reveal the correct answer to the $20,000 question. Thank you all for your patience, hopefully things can get moving properly again now! ————— End

Post ____ It's me Realdeo to the rescue. ____ End You said i, milliomoshungary . You are relying on your guts here. In complex mathematics, the imaginary number used to represent the square root of minus one is represented by which letter? A: i B: j C: k D: l
Now, if you think about it, the word "imaginary" starts with the letter i, so you are correct! In complex mathematics, the imaginary number used to represent the square root of minus one is represented by which letter? A: i B: j C: k D: l
*Q6 Win Plays, audience cheer, lights come up and set turns orange* =<<<<$ 20,000>>>>=*Q7 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* What a great intuition. The next question will be your second safe haven. If you answer your next question correctly, you will be guaranteed to walk away with at least $50,000. If you get this one wrong, you will walk away with $1,000. You still have your 50/50 and Phone a Friend. Here comes your $50,000 question. Which singer first released the famous hit 'I Will Always Love You'? A: Whitney Houston B: Dusty Springfield C: Ella Fitzgerald D: Dolly Parton

Fortunately I am a fan of music. Mainly punk and metal songs to be honest, but fortunately I like 90's music too. I know it's Whitney Houston. She sung it for the soundtrack of some movie (which I only know the title of in hungarian) and I believe it is from around 1993. Anyways, Whitney Houston, final answer.

You really like this question, don't you? Which singer first released the famous hit 'I Will Always Love You'? A: Whitney Houston B: Dusty Springfield C: Ella Fitzgerald D: Dolly Parton
Now, I know you are confident that this answer is correct, but this is for $50,000, so I am going to make you worry and make you second guess by pausing the reveal for a very long time. It is the wrong answer. Which singer first released the famous hit 'I Will Always Love You'? A: Whitney Houston B: Dusty Springfield C: Ella Fitzgerald D: Dolly Parton
*Q7 incorrect music cue. Audience groan* You are spot on that Whitney Houston sang this song for a music soundtrack, The Bodyguard, in 1992--but you forgot that sometimes that music soundtrack is not original and simply a redux of a previous song; like how Fifty Shades of Grey reduxes I Put A Spell on You by Screaming Jay Hawkings. In this case, the song that Whitney Houston song is a redux of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" which is actually a country song back in 1973. milliomoshungary , thank you for playing, it is a pleasure to play with you. *Bye bye music cue. Audience applause as milliomoshungary leaves the stage* So I am afraid this is the end of the show. Earlier this episode, ChefLaur won a really cool $500,000. Milliomoshungary went into a promising streak before he crashed out and walked away with $1,000. It has been a good show. Good night and watch us again tomorrow!
