Hi everyone,
Thought I'd post my audition here! I'd love the opportunity to check out what people have come up with in terms of fan games, as well as take it as a good chance to check out how these incredibly complex recreations are created in something like PowerPoint. I've seen some fantastic stuff people have been showing off on YouTube and this 'fan games' section does appear to be *the* place for Millionaire software and recreations.
I first signed up god knows how many years ago and I fell off the Millionaire radar until now with the UK Clarkson revival, which I've been keeping a very close eye on, digging up some good details and sharing it here. I also got to see a taping of Wednesday night's show and, if anything, given the NDAs involved, I'd say this is fairly decent evidence of trustworthiness. (I end up dealing with a lot of such stuff as a film blogger). Goes without sharing, won't share any of this stuff publicly, and if there's anything I end up coming up with such as my own fan game I'd appreciate this opportunity to share it in this protected area. I'm also a video editor - and I think this would be a good, more secure, place to share things like episode edits and so on (what I was considering working on at one point is a rescored/US graphics version of a Clarkson revival episode. Unfortunately, ITV don't air Millionaire with surround sound...some of the fan games/graphic recreations would be a great starting point for something like this though - with the creators' permission of course before sharing!)
I realise a lot - almost all - of my recent activity has been in regards to the Clarkson revival and if that's an issue then no worries, I'll happily concede this one for now. In any case, thanks for your consideration!
