I wouldn't say it like that especially considering that "Ask the Audience", currently, is still in the American version as one of the original lifelines. Could this lifeline possibly get a makeover in the near future as well?!?!?

However, I believe in Michael Davies and I think he knows what he is doing (he created Supermillionaire and brought Regis back for the anniversary episodes) but WOW that is a big move to drop the "Phone A Friend"!

Nah, that would increase production costs and time taken, which is what they have been trying to cut down.
