*the q8 final answer cue plays*
Brave of you to take a chance on this... but sometimes that’s just what you gotta do...
Because it was a good chance to take! You just won $20,000! *the audience applauds as the q8 correct cue, and then the q9 let’s play cue plays*
Yeah, I for one would never have known any of these countries’ former names, except for Rhodesia from AP World History, and I thought I’d heard of Swaziland getting a new name, but I don’t know if that’s been set in stone yet.
Now, you have got $20,000. Of course you know, you can walk away with that now if you’d like, but I’m sure you won’t. If you answer this next question incorrectly, you’d drop $15,000. But, if you give me the right answer, you’ll have $30,000. Question #9 is this...
On 14 October 2015, José Bautista infamously flipped his bat in celebration after hitting a home run against which MLB team?
A: Cleveland Indians B: Texas Rangers C: Kansas City Royals D: Chicago White Sox

MLB? Not a clue. I am going to ask the audience on this one.

Ok, not a problem. Audience, wwtbamfangamer would like some assistance here. Let’s see if we can get him to $30,000. This is the question once again: on 14 October 2015, José Bautista infamously flipped his bat in celebration after hitting a home run against which MLB team? Now, A on your buzzers is the Cleveland Indians, B is the Texas Rangers, C the Kansas City Royals, and D the Chicago White Sox. A, B, C, or D, please vote now. Post -------------------- millionaireloveruk will now provide the audience voting results. -------------------- End

*the q9 final answer cue plays*
Not much of a majority there, but I can understand why you’d go for it...
Because it’s the right answer! You won $30,000! *the audience applauds as the q9 correct cue, and then the q10 let’s play cue plays*
Yeah, that was a big enough scene as it is, but the next season the Rangers retaliated and got into a fight with that Bautista guy, and that made yet another big scene. Baseball is crazy, I tell you.
Now, where are we? Oh yes. We’re at question #10. You’re at $30,000. The next question is worth a guaranteed $50,000, if you give me a correct answer. Otherwise, you lose $25,000. Of course, you don’t have to play this question if you don’t want to, but you have one very important lifeline left. You might as well have a look at this next question. For $50,000, here is question #10...
A ‘quadriga’ can be seen atop which of these world landmarks?
A: Brandenburg Gate B: Elizabeth Tower C: Eiffel Tower D: Leaning Tower of Pisa

Right... When I was younger, I learned about the ancient Olympics. And a quadriga is a chariot with 4 horses.
It's not the Elizabeth Tower, basically it's a tip at the top. Eiffel Tower I think was the aerial, and I don't recall seeing anything on top of the tower of Pisa...
A, final answer

*the q10 final answer cue plays*
...
*I take a deep breath*
You’ve just won $50,000! *the audience cheers as the q10 correct cue, and then the q11 let’s play cue plays; while this is going on, I write out a check to wwtbamfangamer and hold it up for him to see*
Have a look. This is what you’ve done. A check for $50,000, pay to the order of wwtbamfangamer... and that’s yours to keep from here on out. *I pull it away* But we don’t wanna give you that! *the audience laughs as I lay the check beside my screen* Well, at least that much, anyway...
So... you’re in a really good position right now. The most a contestant has won in my RPG shows is $64,000. You’re at $50,000. How are you feeling right now about the prospect of winning the million?

Winning a million... Well... There is a chance... But a slim chance... *Laughs* Uhh... But 50 Grand is amazing, and it will help my hobby and some will be kept aside for a rainy day... At the moment I can't really say how I am feeling... Maybe when I get closer to the million

Well, you can’t count out winning the million just yet. You’ve been doing quite well through the last few questions, and you’ve still got that one lifeline.
Now, you have $50,000. You’re just four questions away from the million. You might as well play this next question, as you’ve got nothing to lose for playing. But it’s worth $100,000 if you give me the right answer. This is question #11 of a possible 14...
*the q12 question bed plays*
While it’s better known as the national capital of Italy, Rome is also the capital of which Italian region?
A: Emilia-Romagna B: Lazio C: Lombardy D: Piedmont

Ok. millionaireloveruk, come on down, if you would. *the audience applauds as the Plus One delegate makes his way to the stage* Welcome to the show. Now since you’re here, you and wwtbamfangamer are free to discuss the question as long as you like. Have a good look at it, and tell us what you think.

I honestly have no clue, I only know the capital cities of countries, not regions... What do you think?

Well I know for a fact that it can’t be either Lombardy or Piedmont. They’re right up in the North of Italy, and obviously Rome is not. So if nothing else I’ve narrowed it down for you. As for the other two I’m not that sure. I have heard of Lazio. I think it shares its name with a football team, but I haven’t got that much idea where it is. Did you have any sort of inkling before you asked me or are you going into this completely blind? Post ————— Not sure if this is allowed, but seeing as the real +1 allows people to discuss more, I’d like to talk a little more after wwtbamfangamer replies if that’s possible. ————— End
