Hi folks, I'm unsure if this is the best section (or even the correct forum) to post this on but figured it would be worth a try. I have a game I downloaded from this section a while ago which includes two Millionaire programs which run simultaneously. As you can see from the screenshot below, one is a host screen and the other is for the contestant. ibb.co/ctK4qeI would love to do this with two screens, ideally a laptop (for the host screen) and a TV to display the contestant's question. Failing that, I'd try two laptops. Does anyone have any experience of doing so? What additional equipment would I need? If it makes any difference, my laptop is Bluetooth enabled. Thanks

If you have a laptop with an HDMI jack, an HDMI cable, and an HDTV, you can plug one end of the cable into the laptop, and one end into the TV. Then, make sure your laptop is extended across both screens. That should do it for you.

Your laptop would need any sort of external display port (HDMI, VGA, DVI, etc.) and the graphical ability to display two screens. (Basically if you have a laptop from the past five or so years ago, you'll be fine.)
After you've connected your laptop and your monitor, TV, or projector, you'll want to split the display. This will allow you to drag the host screen to the laptop and the contestant screen to the other display. You can do this by going into the Control Panel and changing your settings there or in the Windows 10 settings.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Thanks for getting back to me folks, I really appreciate this. This is far more simple sounding that I thought it might be. I'll report back once I've tried it out.

Is it possible to do this wirelessly instead, perhaps using something like a Google Chromecast?

I believe Chromecast can only support mirroring the screen, not display an entirely different screen. For that, I've tried using a Microsoft wireless display adapter, but in my experience, even that is really laggy and leaves a few artifacts on the other screen. For the best picture and consistency in performance, I'd highly recommend using a wired connection if you can.

In truth, I had considered this before posting again but I opted to do so in case the two members who replied had already read my response saying that I would check it out. I wasn't sure if they would be alerted to my edit and would therefore miss my question about going wireless. Do you know if they would be notified?

Probably not. Another option is when you are tempted to double post in that situation, I'd suggest deleting your first post and re-post it with your additional information/questions. Does that make sense? That way, they would see the "new post" indication on the homepage and sub-board.

That's perfect, and something I hadn't thought of. Thanks again
