I'm pretty excited about this. I've watched a few episodes from the UK recently and I like the game. It's simple, yet hard as no other under pressure. I'm waiting to get the casting call so I can jump all over it!
I wish they'd bring that other show to America though called "Divided." It's the one where 3 strangers have to work together to build up a bank, and at the end their total is divided UN-equally, and they have to make a consensus of who gets what share of the cash. The catch is, for every second they aren't in agreement, the cash total is being decimated hard.
We had a show like that here back in the day called "Friend or Foe" that worked differently, but had sort of the same idea (Split the money evenly, one person takes all, or no one gets anything)

Friend or Foe.. I remember that game, with KENNEDY. She never said her first or last name, but I guess she hosts some radio talk show in Los Angeles now.

(Split the money evenly, one person takes all, or no one gets anything) Reminds me of 'Golden Balls'..

I like "The Cube," and I'm excited that it's coming here. However, NBC has a clone of it in the pipeline already (sans giant cube), so I hope that doesn't kill the show's chances in the U.S.

Um, bad news. According to Buzzerblog, The Cube has been dropped, but Perfect 10 is still on the way for January 2010. And frankly, that just sucks.

I agree. I bet it has to do with "Our Little Genius". I don't see any other reason for it being dropped.

Darn, I was hoping there would come an American edition of 'The Cube'!

Good news coming back : As Perfect Ten, now named Minute to Win It, seems just like a Cube ripoff, there's an audience call for a US Cube pilot taped in the UK just right there!I'm just hoping it won't get like a "The Chair" vs. "The Chamber" war there...

Looks like Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the pilot, which will air on CBS, according to BuzzerBlog. *grins*

Series 2 has started! I've watched the first part of Episode 1. It looks brilliant! And menacing! Um, has there been a soundtrack?

Not to my knowledge, although I love the music that the show does have. Especially what they played when someone won a hundred thousand pounds!

It's even hosted by that fellow from the Broom Cupboard! You know, from CBBC? The one who accidentally put the BBC1 globe on screen back in the 80s?
