Hey everyone,
Ever heard of those situations where a few people ruin it for everyone?
Well, once again, I really really apologize to the community, and I don't want to seem like a jerk, but I believe I am warranted in this one. Because of two members of this very community (which I shall not name), and actions that were done against my wishes within the past month or so, I have to take more time to think about the distribution process of my software.
Again, this is not the end of it, but basically it means you may have to wait til the end of the month for me to think this through. My trust has been severely violated, and it does require me to think a little while.
Please don't give up hope, most of those of you who have been requesting the software will get it one way or another.
I may or may not reveal the reasons for this decision, but I figure that some of you can figure it out.

I hear you completely. This is the very reason I don't ask for other people's software or anything for that matter, really. Once someone's given you something, and they are giving it to multiple people, you become a prime suspect when someone breaks their trust and starts passing it to someone else, who in turn passes it off to other people and then it's owned by everyone. (I'm assuming that's what happened as seems to be the most common occurance).
My advice (for what it's worth) is be very limited on who you trust. There's a lot of nice people in the Millionaire community that are awesome, but there's really only one person I have enough trust with and I would give them anything from Millionaire Interactive that they asked for (which I have done several times), and I'd like to believe they have the same trust with me.

When distributing files, especially important ones like the ones associated with this game, you always have to be careful. Most people are not trustworthy, and those individuals ruin it for everyone else.
I've been informed of the situation, and things are being pieced together and put back on track. I think everyone will be happy with the end result once everything is resolved. Just give it a little time.
In the future, I really encourage everyone to share important files only with members you know that you can trust. And I cannot stress enough that I'm always willing to help with situations like this, so please come to me before doing something stupid. People can be pretty reasonable when you go through the proper channels.

I know what you mean by distributing files and people breaking your trust.  Will this be coming out soon? JW. I'm new here and I have created a simulation based game featured on our website based on Disney ride attractions. Some of you may of played it in real life at the Disney Parks or remembering seeing pictures or videos clips snips of the attraction. Well at Themagical.nl, we created the real attraction (now Toy Story Mania) of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Play It!" I created the graphics of the game that you see there and but the webmaster of Themagical did the coding by scratch! Over 2700 of actionscripting 2.0 of hand made of coding to produce what you see on our website. Now that's before AS 3.0 came out by that time, for me being new to the field of graphic design since I graduated from College I wasn't taught too extensive of AS 2.0. Just barely basic code but still having issues learning it. I want to learn 3.0 but again its again re-learning the new language of it. :/ I would love to have it for personal educational purposes so I can learn the coding of what makes your flash game so awesome from the others that I've seen online. Keep up the great work!!  |
