Does anybody have the new music that is used in the HOT SEAT version of Millionaire? Although it doesn't have that WWTBAM feeling, it's still cool.

How popular is it in Australia?
Because to me, it doesn't have the mysterious Millionaire music it had years ago...in fact, some of the music doesn't even mix in together!

I'm not a fan of the Hot Seat music at all. At least the composers of US season 9 music made a conscious effort to emulate Matthew Strachan's music. The Hot Seat score is instantly forgettable and doesn't fit the mood of the show at all.
Actually, I'm not really a fan of the Hot Seat format in general. I think it's great to have Millionaire around in any form, but Hot Seat misses the mark by quite a bit.

Red and Millionaire don't work well together, and not dimming the lights at all is a huge fail. |

I'm not saying that it's a bad game, but some people standing behind a desk and skipping questions just is an entirely different game than Millionaire. At least the Hot Seat version still works a lot more like the original Millionaire, while still bringing in some changes. |
