theomorton: Hi Matt, I was reading your post and I understand you have access to a question database? I'm working on a personal hobby project and was looking for a DB of questions. Can you help? Thanks ahead!

probium: Sound design of Arkadium Millionaire is flawed. Once I get the final question wrong, I get treated to the $32,000 lose cue, NOT the $1 Million lose cue.

FrankT: Good grief, nobody told me they revived Wheel of Fortune in the UK. Looks like I have something else to watch now!

probium: For some reason when I click on a lifeline I already used, it freezes. Also the sound design is flawed, with the normal question wrong theme playing in place of the early question wrong theme.

Well, I personally believe that it looks very nice. As far as shown in the clip, the return of the Italian WWTBAM version will be based on the current format of the international versions and might actually capture many of the trademarks from the 20th Anniversary special, as well - such as the studio, lighting, etc. But if there is indeed anything else I would like to mention, it would be the opportunity to participate in the casting of the show. This has indeed not been done many times in international trailers of the show, except for the UK version, where people were usually given the phone number to call in order to become a contestant in the show. But with the return of the Italian format, the pick of the contestants receives a new execution and general meaning behind it. To sum it up, I'm indeed looking forward to the return of the return of WWTBAM in Italy. Perhaps we could see quite a lot of changes or differences compared to other versions of the show...
I am also waiting for the return of WWTBAM in Italy. I am very curious about the changes that will take place. I wonder what the set design will look like (I hope that they will show something much different than what has been so far, because the previous studio did not please me much). I am also wondering how many questions will be asked - I suspect that 15. I am glad that the host has not changed
Last year Gerry Scotti was interviewed by an Italian magazine, he said he wanted to bring this show back and he kept his promise. I think the good results (in terms of ratings) of the UK revival convinced the Italian production team and Mediaset (the TV Network) that the show needed a second chance, after its closure in 2011. Chi vuol essere Milionario? is coming back with four special episodes airing every Thursday evening from November 29th to December 20th, 2018. It will have a new logo and some other new features.
What we know so far is that, due to the fact only four episodes will be aired, the set won't be built in Italy and the show will be taped elsewhere. One of the options is that the production team and the contestants will travel to the UK, where they will use the set of the British version. The show will air from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm, an unusual time slot for game shows in Italy. If these special episodes will have good ratings, the show will probably be back with a proper season in late 2019.

Wow! Thanks for the news I believe that the set design should be built in Italy. I hope that more seasons will be created. I am always curious about new sets, I would be a bit disappointed if they used a British studio.
/Edit 14.11.2018: Italian wwtbam will be recorded in Poland. On the Polish agency's "publico" profile, there was information that a public who speaks Italian is wanted.
/2nd edit: There will also be ask the host lifeline.
/edit 16.11.2018: The recordings will take place in a different studio, but still in Poland.

I can confirm the fact that the show will be taped in Warsaw, Poland, but apparently they won't use the set of the Polish version, as they will build a new set specifically for the Italian revival. The new lifeline Ask the Host will be introduced and will be called Chiedilo a Gerry (Ask Gerry). In addition, the lifeline Phone-a-Friend will be replaced with the Plus One, fistly because they would need to make international calls and secondly because they want to avoid people using the Internet to find the answers.
I honestly don't know what to expect, I hope it will be a successful season so that we can have more in the future.
In the Polish version of WWTBAM, a friend is in a special room in the studio, which makes the Phone A Friend make sense Chi Vuol Essere Milionario is recorded near Warsaw, in Sękocin. Episodes are recorded since November 20

Oh, that's a good piece of information! I knew the host was in Milan-Malpensa Airport a couple of days ago, boarding a flight to Warsaw, but I didn't know they had already started recording the show. Do you know when they will finish? And can you confirm they were looking for Italian-speaking people in the audience? In fact I was wondering how the Ask the Audience lifeline could have worked in a foreign country...
The fact the "friend" is in an isolated room makes sense, but I've heard they are going to call the lifeline something like Ask your friend, that's the reason why I said Phone-a-Friend was replaced, because apparently there won't be a phone call.
They are looking for both people who know Italian and who do not know the language. PublicoTV agency website: web.facebook.com/publicotv/
The episodes are recorded, if I remember correctly, by November 23.
There is also a photo. Hubert Urbański, the host of the Polish version of WWTBAM, did it himself. It turns out that the Polish set design has been transferred to Sękocin. You can see that on the top of the logo there is no sign "Milionerzy"

It was a good episode. I've recorded it while watching of course Gonna let it render over night. But for those who cant wait to see some parts.
Here are a few parts of that first episode:
CHI VUOL ESSERE MILIONARIO - Episode 1 - December 7, 2018 Language: Italian Studio: Poland Episode Length: 1hour 50minutes + 4-5minute long REWIND afterwards Host: Gerry Scotti
OPENING
THE MONEYTREE (Explain The Rules)
LIFELINES: 4 Lifelines (50:50, Ask The Audience, Ask A Friend/Plus One AND Ask The Host
THRESHOLDS: Question 5 Variable 2nd Threshold (Q6-14) like UK 20TH ANNIVERSARY
AND OF COURSE, The "ASK THE HOST" Lifeline has Gerry's Head Shape Best & Funniest Picture for Comparison is this one:
They've used the same lightning as poland, same studio colors, nothing changed there. But there were a few camera views that poland didnt use AND after the episode was over and credits rolled, commercials were ofter, they returned from commercials, showing a 3-4minute REWIND part of that episode today.
I can give you guys tomorrow more informations & the full episode
