THIS SHOW IS ON HIATUS. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will return to Las Vegas in 2019. Please submit your information below to join the list and we will notify you when tickets become available. Thank you! Yep, I got the exact same implication as far as the show's short-term future. If I recall, they had renewed the show for its 18th+ season at least a year in advance. Not to mention I have to think enough people still want to be a millionaire... =P I visited Las Vegas at the beginning of 2019 to (belatedly) celebrate my 21st, but as long as the show's still going, I'm really considering going back in the summer just to attend a taping of Millionaire. |

Is syndicated Millionaire going to end without a word? I really hope not. Chris Harrison is one of the better things to happen to the show since Shuffle and Meredith's departure. He's managed to hold down the fort for three years, and has been doing great the past couple of seasons. He's even pulled the "final answer commercial" a few times. |

here is what i think...
Since nothing has been announce, there is of course the feeling that it will disappear but speaking of the current year, it is possible that they do another short series of like 2 weeks for the 20th anniversary. like regis did on the 10th anniversary.
The syndicated gameshow plan for summer exists and Millionaire is not in there... So they gotta have a plan. cuz normally you would ready about a show beeing cancelled.
So there still is hope for another season.
What could also possibly be is that Disney and Sony are still trying to make a deal for what i named above? or giving it back to primetime permanently?
Currently all we can do is listen for news and watch out for the weekly MillionaireTV teasers around august - september

It’s certainly possible. It’s also possible that the show was renewed for two seasons simultaneously last year, which is why no new deal has been announced.
Of course, the show may just be on the bubble and Disney is taking its time weighing its options and deciding if it’s even worth making the next season.
