Excuse me.
I have a little problem here.
Although there are no updates in threads I participate, the "NEW" pop-up notif keeps appearing. Does anyone here have this same problem? Please fix this...

Which theme are you using? The original theme. I never change my theme during my login time. |

I am not having this problem. Are you using incognito or some sort of private browsing, possibly?
Do me a favor. Next time you get the little NEW notification, navigate to the thread itself then go back to the home screen and see if it goes away except navigate there via clicking “HOME” or on the logo at the top of the screen. Let me know.

Let me know. I did what you instructed, and it worked almost perfectly. Because the notifs still have yet to disappear from some threads. And, I'm not using any private browsing. |

rifkialqadri, can we do an experiment? Go to one of the threads marked as “New” and click through the last three or four pages of the thread, one at a time. Let me know if there is any change.

RegisFan , no change at all. now I have another problem. after clicking the 'participated' section, the 'new' pop up not does not appear beside the 'renewed' thread(s). could you instead do that for me? I'll PM you my password and then you could do the instructions instead.

rifkialqadri, I have two suggested solutions for you. 1) In your Profile view, go to "Settings" and disable the "Show Participated" option. Then, re-enable it. 2) Also in your Profile, go to "Notifications" and uncheck the "Participated" box. Then, check it again. Performing these actions should reset the Participated panel for you and hopefully resolve the problem. Please keep in mind that the Participated panel is specific to your actions/threads that you've participated in. If there is activity in those threads that you haven't read since participating in them (as in, there is activity on Page 4 that you never read, but you skipped ahead to Page 5), the "New" icon won't disappear until you've looked at all the unread content.
