RegisFan, I now have two new problems. 1. when I click the "settings" logo, I am not redirected to any page. instead, the "give member gift" pop-up appears. also, there is no "settings" button around my profile. 2. When I switch to "notifications" tab, there is no "participated" box.

rifkialqadri, I think you’re clicking the wrong “Settings” button if you’re seeing the “Give Member Gift” option. Also, I’m confused because you’ve mentioned toggling your settings but also not having a button. Try following the path below: 1) Click the “Profile button at the top of the page. 2) Hit the “Edit Profile” button 3) Use the tabs at the top of the “Edit Profile & Settings” window to navigate to the Setting and Notifications pages. As always, screenshots will be very helpful with diagnosing your new issues.

rifkialqadri , I have two suggested solutions for you. 1) In your Profile view, go to "Settings" and disable the "Show Participated" option. Then, re-enable it. 2) Also in your Profile, go to "Notifications" and uncheck the "Participated" box. Then, check it again. Performing these actions should reset the Participated panel for you and hopefully resolve the problem. Please keep in mind that the Participated panel is specific to your actions/threads that you've participated in. If there is activity in those threads that you haven't read since participating in them (as in, there is activity on Page 4 that you never read, but you skipped ahead to Page 5), the "New" icon won't disappear until you've looked at all the unread content. new problem again. in instruction no.2 , when I uncheck the box, it's fine, but when it is rechecked again, the "NEW" pop up stays there. |
