Ladies and gentlemen, let's delve in to the facts after a very wild roller coaster ride:
July 23, 2004. Ken Jennings set a new-one day record, which the FJ! is about Shakespeare:
September 14, 2010. Roger Craig BROKE Ken Jennings' one-day record, which the FJ! is about Literary & Movie Title Objects:
TODAY, April 9, 2019. James Holzhauer, a professional sports gambler from Las Vegas, Nevada, HAS DONE IT. The FJ! is about Physics Terms:
As Alex Trebek asked after his performance, "Is it too soon to start thinking about Ken Jennings comparisons?"
Only time will tell.
UPDATE! James Holzhauer HAS DONE IT AGAIN. HE BROKE HIS OWN RECORD BY A MILE. The FJ! is about 20th Century Literary Characters:

Well, James Holzhauer now has ALL of the ten highest single-day cash winnings on Jeopardy. Roger Craig's one-day record is HISTORY. Ken Jennings' one-day record is HISTORY. It's now erased. It's all his now, he can't be stopped, and he won't be stopped. One man, ten records, he's nothing but a machine.
To give you a better perspective of what happened, here's the timeline of his amazing run. Note that in bold are the five highest winnings EVER in a single game alone.
Day 1: $43,680 (TOTAL: $43,680) Day 2: $38,926 (TOTAL: $82,606) Day 3: $43,815 (TOTAL: $133,451) Day 4: $110,914 (TOTAL: $244,365) Day 5: $54,322 (TOTAL: $298,687) Day 6: $27,190 (TOTAL: $325,877) Day 7: $89,158 (TOTAL: $415,035) Day 8: $45,444 (TOTAL: $460,479) Day 9: $106,181 (TOTAL: $566,660) Day 10: $131,127 (TOTAL: $697,787) Day 11: $74,133 (TOTAL: $771,920) Day 12: $80,006 (TOTAL: $851,926) Day 13: $90,812 (TOTAL: $942,738) Day 14: $118,816 (TOTAL: $1,061,554) Day 15: $73,621 (TOTAL: $1,135,175) Day 16: $90,812 (TOTAL: $1,225,987) Day 17: $49,600 (TOTAL: $1,275,587) Day 18: $54,017 (TOTAL: $1,329,604) Day 19: $96,726 (TOTAL: $1,426,330) Day 20: $101,682 (TOTAL: $1,528,012) Day 21: $80,615 (TOTAL: $1,608,627) Day 22: $82,381 (TOTAL: $1,691,008) Day 23: $89,229 (TOTAL: $1,780,237) Day 24: $86,905 (TOTAL: $1,867,142) Day 25: $71,885 (TOTAL: $1,939,027) Day 26: $52,108 (TOTAL: $1,991,135) Day 27: $74,400 (TOTAL: $2,065,535) Day 28: $130,022 (TOTAL: $2,195,557) Day 29: $59,381 (TOTAL: $2,254,938) Day 30: $69,033 (TOTAL: $2,323,971) Day 31: $58,612 (TOTAL: $2,382,583) Day 32: $79,633 (TOTAL: $2,462,216)
I will keep you track for more, as long as he continues to dominate Jeopardy! and, if this amazing run continues, Ken Jennings' record of 74 games and over $2.5 million will be gone.

Ladies and gentlemen, he did it AGAIN. He won over $100,000 in his 10th appearance, AND he broke the new one-day record just like that. This time, the FJ! is about 20th Century Literary Characters, and guess what he won after Final Jeopardy?
$131,127.
Unbelievable. What a game.

OH. MY. GOD. That was the most exhilarating and exciting game of Jeopardy! I've ever watched. I am literally shaking right now. I'm so glad he won! (Day 18)

Well, he can't be stopped, ladies and gentlemen. He now holds ALL of the 10 highest one-day totals in Jeopardy! after his 20th win. I guess future Jeopardy! contestants will still find a hard time beating this guy.

Well, James Holzhauer won't be returning in two weeks because of the Teachers Tournament. He will be back on May 21 (Philippine time) to continue his quest to beat Ken Jennings, which Terry Crews called him, "the Michael Jordan of game shows".

Well, how about that. On October 25, 2004, Ken Jennings made a HISTORIC FIRST, crossing the $2 million mark on Jeopardy!, which appropriately, the category is HISTORIC FIRSTS.
Now, May 24, 2019, or 14 years, 6 months, 4 weeks, 1 day later, James Holzhauer became the SECOND, which the category is AROUND THE USA.
The question: will he beat Ken Jennings not only in winnings, but also his tenure?

OOH, he came so close towards setting a new one-day record. He won, anyway, but he's about $1,000 shy of his personal record. Had he wagered at least $60,000, that would do it because his score going into FJ! today is $72,022.

Had he wagered at least $60,000, that would do it because his score going into FJ! today is $72,022. If he wagered $60,000, he would have risked losing the game. He never would have done that.

{Spoiler} James finally lost. At least he made an impact; Emma (the woman who beat him) used James’ own tactics. James is also in the Tournament of Champions.

I apologize for the lack of a spoiler alert. I forgot to put that there, and I’m not really familiar with JavaScript. I admit that I made myself look stupid, and that I’m halfway close to being blocked. I know that this post won’t change anything.
