According to The Wrap, Evelyn Warfel has been named the new executive producer and showrunner of The Price is Right, becoming the first woman ever to hold that position. In addition, John Quinn, who serves as executive producer of both Match Game and Press Your Luck for ABC, has been named the new executive producer and showrunner of Let's Make a Deal. They are replacing Mike Richards, who was the executive producer for both Price and Deal for many years. Mike signed a new deal with Sony for the developing of new game shows for their networks and platforms. He was (and still is) not well-liked by fans of both shows, and is commonly said to be the reason for the show's going downhill in recent years. When Rich Fields was fired from The Price is Right, people were incredibly pissed at Mike, blaming him for Rich's dismissal.
