Agreed. Now, we wait. If ABC learns a thing or two, maybe the show won’t get canceled after all. This could be an illusion, but it’s something.

It’s really unfortunate, because the people who didn’t tune in missed out on the best episode of the season. Hopefully, next week, the ratings will be better. |

Lots of people watch Millionaire to watch regular people win big money. Celebrities on the show are already rich, ruining the show’s appeal.

Millionaire was originally about normal everyday people trying to win money.
I honestly wouldn’t mind an episode or two with celebrities, but an entire season?! Nah. that doesn’t sit well with me.
Every other country does one or two specials per season (three max.), but the US has to do an entire season. I feel bad for you honestly.
I’d feel terrible if this was the same situation with my home country’s version. Or any version I love watching.

See, even Cedric knew that the lighting was lame on Shuffle Millionaire!  Fun episode tonight. It was gut-wrenching to watch the Toy Story question, which I initially pegged as the easiest $125,000 question ever. My first impression was that anyone who had seen at least the first film would be able to use reason to identify the only logical answer. But my assumption was wrong, proving yet again that the “easy” ones aren’t easy for everyone. |

I preferred last week’s episode over this one. The tension went away once the celebrities came back, and I wasn’t too impressed with Cedric.
Anyway, it comes back January 3. I’ll miss it, but if ABC was smart, it would go to another night.

Okay, this is gonna be more of a nitpick, but there seem to be several mistakes in firing off the wrong cue, and I don't like how the pitched PAF cue for using your companion (the pitched cue sounds much like the switch the question cue in the syndie days) extends throughout the question. Much like the early days of prime time, I was expecting the early days of the revival to have a few glaring mistakes, but it feels like they aren't getting much tighter with the production quality and the mistakes are still there.
Either way, Cedric hasn't aged one bit!

I enjoyed the last two weeks episodes. I mostly agree with the previous comment that production doesn’t seem to be getting much better, but I do think it’s better than the first episodes from the revival. What a shame that this weeks episode was the lowest rated yet. I love Cedric, he is just too cool and I love the way he taught Jimmy how to say “let’s play Millionaire”. Jimmy could take some lessons from him. Amanda and the Toy Story question was great TV. They just need more moments like this, and last weeks episode, and stop with the celebrities. It’s too much. It’s funny I have been seeing advertisements for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and thought that could be interesting. Not sure what it is but Millionaire and celebrities obviously isn’t working, and ABC needs to learn. It’s not the show, it’s them!!
