Also, if they will ever bring the regular civilian contestants back, I hope Fastest Finger First will make its long awaited return.

Last night's show was the highest this season, with 4.213 million viewers. This is fantastic news, considering that the previous episodes lost to sports. Here's hoping that this leads to another renewal, and if it does, let's hope it only features civilians.

Last week it had 2.96m as finalized. + I don’t think Fastest Finger First will return to the USA, they killed that off a long time ago. I still think like, if they wanted it, they would’ve added it back when season 1 was starting, So, I don’t think it will be returning. |

Not a surprise to see Millionaire up with no football. See, it was the time slot this whole time.
As I mentioned earlier, ABC has kept its game show reboots going and a handful are still drawing worse numbers than Millionaire. Considering how inexpensive a genre game shows are, it's always cheap filler for ABC. It just needs to go back to being some weeknight at 8 or 9. Or maybe do a "12 shows in 4 nights a week over 3 weeks" kinda deal once/twice a year (but only twice, none of this overexposure nonsense that killed it the first time).
But yeah, no more celebs. Please. And get rid of the companion. Just have the UK setup where they just replace the audience with a 2nd phone a friend (at least while COVID is a thing) and the ask the host stays as a 4th lifeline.

I also don’t want to see celebs on Millionaire outside of an occasional special, like the UK. Jimmy is best with civilians, and I’m sure even he would like to see civilians more often. Also, if they don’t bring back Fastest Finger First, they’re missing a great opportunity.

I’ve already put my two cents on the FFF thing, I sadly don’t see it coming.
Also, weren’t there originally supposed to be just three lifelines, 50:50, Phone-A-Friend and Ask-The-Audience? And then ATA got killed off at the last minute, so they had to replace it with Ask-The-Host?
+ Let’s not forget that they’re probably starting the next season with the remaining two unaired episodes, so wouldn’t it be weird if the changes were made showed up like two episodes later?
I know I sound pessimistic, but they’re probably not gonna change anything... Just for the sake of continuity.

arman , how do we know there are two unaired episodes? Check the listings, 214 and 215 were never rescheduled.  215 was supposed to be the finale. |

Interesting! I wonder if they’ll plug holes in the ABC schedule with those episodes, reschedule the marathon, hold them until next season, or continue episodes on Sundays after the Super Bowl.

Well you're in luck, because I just checked The Futon Critic, and the last three episodes of the season are scheduled to air March 7th through the 21st at 10, right after Idol. |

So excited! It’s getting a lead in from Idol, so it should be good. Although, I’m not really happy with the fact that it’s at 10:00PM.
