The thing is, though, aren’t those the unaired episodes from this season? It’s not like they’re from a new season.

They are, yes. There aren’t any newly recorded ones.

Tonight’s show was another solid episode.
Thomas Middleditch was an enjoyable celebrity contestant. He was genuinely funny without chatting excessively like a lot of celebrities tend to do, and he took the game seriously. Too bad his game was cut short at Q11.
DeShaé, the first responder contestant, was also great. Jimmy’s banter with DeShaé and her dad was top shelf, illustrating yet again how much better of a host he is with real contestants and real money on the line.
I’m looking forward to two more new episodes this month.

Haven’t seen the episode yet, but it seems like a good one.

The last question of the episode was a very tough question. I don’t think anyone seemed to know it. That’s a question you could’ve had for a much higher dollar amount.
I thought it was really intriguing how they showed behind the scenes who operates the lifelines last night. I know that they’re supposed to be random, but often times, it is what somebody says their choices are. On Thomas’ last question, I knew it wasn’t A or B, so I guessed C.
Edit: A tweet I’m seeing says ratings were just under three million, at 2.94.

Last night's show got 2.948 million viewers. It did get second place in the 10 PM timeslot, but it lost to a rerun of The Equalizer. Even with a show that has strong ratings like Idol, Millionaire is still failing in its unfortunate timeslot. Let's hope next week's show will be a bit better, especially since it's another civilian-only episode.

Gonna be honest, you can’t expect a show to do well in a 10:00pm slot. The only reason why The Equalizer had better ratings is because it had a lead in from Oprah’s interview with Meghan and Harry which broke 17m last night. We’ll see what happens next week.

As expected, tonight’s all-civilian episode did not disappoint. This may have been the closest that this version has ever come to matching the quality of the current UK edition.
Kyle’s $64,000 question was tough, but Jimmy impressively came through during Ask the Host. And it wasn’t something he knew[i/], but he reasoned it out like a trivia champ. Jimmy has to be the Ask the Host MVP out of all the current international hosts. He’s good at trivia and not afraid to go out in a limb to suggest an answer.

I loved tonight’s show. Civilian only episodes are the best. I thought there was really good pacing, but I thought Jimmy’s joke about Joseph’s tattoos on the last question was definitely in poor taste.
That said, the man knows his stuff. Still, I thought Kyle’s question he asked Jimmy on, though tough, I think was doable and could be figured out. I’d rather see that question than a question on Ben and Jerry’s ice cream flavors, but I’m happy for both Joseph and Kyle.
Jimmy’s knowledge is fantastic. Honestly, I think if I would trade in a lifeline on the show, I’d trade in the phone a friend because Jimmy knows so much, and 50:50 can help if you get a question where you know an answer or two is incorrect.
I don’t expect the ratings to be superb because of the Grammys, but it was another quality episode.

I also think that trading PAF may be the optimal strategy, assuming your companion is useful. Having unlimited time to talk to your companion and Jimmy seems more useful than having 30 seconds with someone on the phone. And 50:50 always stays because it’s the only lifeline that is always 100% correct.

Finalized ratings of last week’s show - 3.003 million viewers. Can’t wait to see this week’s ratings.

I’m seeing 2.94 million viewers. Of course, CBS was the big winner with 60 Minutes and the Grammys. Now, if ABC would stop trying to bury the show and show it at an earlier time on a weeknight, it might be even better.

2.941 million, small decrease from last week's show. I agree it would be better if it had a different timeslot and didn't go up against the Grammys. We have one more episode left for the season, and here's hoping it does somewhat well.
