It’s kind of impressive that ratings held firm despite the Grammys.
This is the episode I would recommend to a first-time viewer. Solidly enjoyable. It’s fairly telling that the best episodes don’t feature celebrities.

It's pretty clear the only reason celebrities were on in the first place was most likely because of ABC.

Petitions almost never work. Our best bet is for ABC to see the ratings difference between celebrity and civilian shows.

It's pretty clear the only reason celebrities were on in the first place was most likely because of ABC. "Celebrities" is a stretch. I didn't know probably more than half of them prior to their appearance on the show. |

Admittedly I didn't even know the name "Nikki Glazer" before what I call the "Final Answer Fiasco of '20". I mean, some other game shows at least try to get better-known names. Names you may recognize rather than C-list, D-list or below. Though I don't really follow celebs a lot so what do I know?

Wait with bated breath for news about a renewal, which hopefully comes alongside an announcement that the next season will focus solely on non-celebrity contestants? That’s what I’ll be doing!
Tonight’s episode was enjoyable, particularly Ryan’s run. He was a memorable contestant, and you could tell that the money meant a lot to him and his girlfriend.

I loved Ryan’s run, and got almost all of his questions correct. He was enjoyable and looked like he had fun. I also loved how he didn’t chit-chat all the time and went straight into an answer if he knew it. Jimmy’s tension with him on the last question he answered correct was great.
Yes - please, please, please Season 3. I can say there is nobody in this country who wants to sit in that hot seat worse than I do. I hope so much for another season, and I will absolutely send in my application, again, if that’s the case.

Last night's show got 2.895 million viewers. I hate to say it, but I don't think the show will be returning after this season. Don't get me wrong, I want it to return badly, especially without celebrities. But with how ABC sacrificed it against the NFL, as well as refusing to change the timeslot where it would get better ratings, I think this might be the first foot in the grave for ABC's primetime game show revivals. Let's hope I'm proven wrong.

Does anyone remember if they announced season 2 right after season 1 ended or?
By the way, this season averaged 3.149m viewers. Should be *barely* enough for ABC to renew the show for a season 3. Season 1 averaged 5.684m viewers.

They announced Season 2 on May 21st, when the first season was still airing. I genuinely hope they renew the season, despite the lackluster average viewers compared to the first season.

This all could’ve been completely avoidable if they had put the show on a different night of the week and at an earlier time slot. This really was not necessary. Now, the future of the show is in limbo, and I can only hope there’s a third season. I’m pretty underwhelmed and deflated at the prospect that it might not come back.
