Hello everyone!
I introduce myself, I'm Yoann, French student in multimedia. If I'm speaking to you today, it's because I'm keen to join the group of Game Creators of the "Fan Games Board"!
First of all, I've always been passionate about Millionaire, this game having preceded my birth by a few years. And today, I can finally recreate those universes thanks to development! Joining this group of enthusiasts would then allow me to progress better and faster on a project I would like to launch with you.
Last year, I coded a Milionnaire in C#. It was very rewarding but now I need to see bigger. (You can find the software here, it's all in French though... drive.google.com/open?id=1LJoFLo7U2sgFVrq6CttKxwbwAuEhT99X )
I'm now preparing a game that would allow players to play in real conditions, similar to the original game. For this, I'm going to develop a web application where the screens of each player (candidates, presenter, audience or control room) will be interconnected to offer the best possible interaction, and the most fun possible!
I have already made such a software for a Discord server that does Brainiest sessions. To do this, a stage manager manages everything from a single screen (questions, music, ranking (which is calculated automatically), a presenter screen as it exists in the show, and a "video-projected" screen for the candidates and the audience, and finally a screen that allows the candidates to answer. And all this is automatically synchronized! You can see how the different displays are organized: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFBgDIQl0Dg; and what it looks like in real life: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP_IeGb5kTc (there were a few display bugs but they have been fixed:)
So here is the project that I would like to lead with the game enthusiasts: to make a universal software, that is to say that it will adapt to all versions of the game, with all styles. For this, I will need help with the reproduction of graphics and music. And all this will be playable in multiplayer, so we can first go through a Fastest Finger Test in real time before moving on to the 12/15 questions, where the audience will also be able to participate remotely with the ATA.
In short, I'm really looking forward to meeting new people to work on this project. But I will also be very open to the idea of discovering, and possibly helping, other enthusiasts in their projects. Sharing knowledge is very important to me.
I wish you an excellent day, and hope that my motivation will retain your interest. I hadn't been very active on the forum due to a lack of time. But I'm very happy to be back there and to be much more active.
And this is my final answer!
