Please vote for your favorite host of Millionaire down below! I have to say Meredith Viera since she is the one I grew up with watching Millionaire. Regis is the original and he is definitely my second. My third is Chris Harrison.

I stopped watching Millionaire towards the end of Meredith's time as the host and I've only seen snippets of Cedric, Terry, and Chris as hosts. Jimmy is an okay host, but Regis will always be king for me. His suspense and comedy are done better than anyone else in my eyes.
I enjoyed Meredith as the host also and think she did excellently during her tenure despite all the changes to the format towards the end of the 2000s. But like I said, there's just something about Regis.

Easily Regis. He knew the show and although he wasn't able to create an atmosphere like the British version, he gave a different feel to the show.
Chris Harrison is second for me, followed by Jimmy, Meredith, Terry, Cedric, in that order.

Regis, Meredith, Chris Harrison. In that order. I had no interest in watching Cedric and Terry Crews host the show. I wasn't able to watch any episode of Jimmy's first season but he seems promising, as I often watch Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Regis is so iconic as the host of Millionaire that you can’t discuss the show in the US without his name dominating the conversation. He hosted the show almost two decades ago, but none of the hosts since were able to make a legacy that burned brighter than his. And there’s a reason for that. After decades of being a broadcaster, he knew that his role was to have a conversation with the contestant and guide him/her through the game. He wasn’t there to look cool or be an omnipotent master of ceremonies... he was the guy who was going to talk you through the most bizarre and incredible experience of your life. Regis was just so genuine as the host that the cool factor was accidental. That’s talent.
Meredith comes in second for me, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love her as the host. She was funny and mischievous and, given her similar background to Regis, knew how to be genuine and carry the conversation. Her absence was certainly felt in the syndicated version, and she was the perfect person for the daytime edition.
Jimmy comes in third. His real test will come when he hosts with civilian contestants and not celebrities, but he has shown great potential so far and was cut from the same cloth as Regis and Meredith. See the pattern emerging?
The others are, sadly, forgettable. Chris was adequate and I appreciate his love of the game, but he’s pretty wooden and not a conversationalist. Cedric and Terry were poorly casted hosts whose tenure on the show is a period I’d rather forget. I like them both a lot in other projects, but they weren’t the right fit for Millionaire.
