We made it! After 15 years, it’s time for the 100th official Millionaire Fans RPG!
This is a special occasion, so we are going to do things a little differently! Please read this post carefully before signing up for a role below.
As always, please read over the official Millionaire Fans RPG rules before volunteering to participate in the RPG.
So, how are we changing things up? For starters, I’ll be hosting for the first time since the Fifth Anniversary RPG project in 2011! And to make things extra special, FinalAnswer19 will be joining me! That’s right, we will be co-hosting the RPG simultaneously!
The game structure will be pre-pandemic 20th Anniversary US/UK hybrid rules: 15 questions, classic money tree and safety nets, and four lifelines (Ask the Audience, Phone-a-Friend, 50:50, and Ask the Hosts).
Secondly, we are changing up the roles for this RPG to give some our content creators and RPG power players the chance to strut their stuff!
The revised roles for RPG 100 are:
-Co-Hosts (RegisFan & FinalAnswer19 )
-Writer (Composes the questions & 50:50 results)
-Computer (Creates and posts the graphics for each question in-game)
-Phone-a-Friend #1 (Serves as a lifeline companion for the first contestant)
-Phone-a-Friend #2 (Serves as a lifeline companion for the second contestant)
-Contestant #1 (Plays in the Hot Seat first)
-Contestant #2 (Plays in the Hot Seat second)
Ask the Audience will be achieved via a community poll using Poll Maker.
You may have noticed that the question writing role has been separated from the Computer role. We are giving this a try to see if any of our talented graphic designers want to show off their work by posting the question graphics in their own style. Graphics can be modeled on official Millionaire graphics or totally custom, the only requirements are that (1) a full set of graphics be created for both games and (2) that the graphics are posted in a timely manner in accordance with cues from the hosts.
Because we’re trying something a little more sophisticated than normal, timeliness and coordination between players will be the key to success. Don’t sign up if you can’t post at the minimum required level per the official RPG rules.
Claim the role you want before it's taken! All roles are first-come, first-served. Please remember that taking on a role in the RPG is a big responsibility. To reiterate, if you agree to participate, you are committing to post in a timely manner and fulfill all necessary requirements of your role. Falling short of that could result in disciplinary action.
