IN MEMORY OF REGIS PHILBIN (1931-2020)
This is the thread for the long-awaited 100th official Millionaire Fans RPG. The co-hosts of this game are RegisFan and FinalAnswer19. Let's play! *The Millionaire US 10th Anniversary theme plays as the familiar dollar signs, spirals, and words of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire logo coalesce over a montage of RPG moments from the last 15 years. The logo elements then come together to form the emblem of RPG 100 before the camera zooms through the "O" in "Millionaire" to the US 20th Anniversary set. The set flashes in different colors as RegisFan and FinalAnswer19 walk onto the stage.* Hello and welcome to the 100th official Millionaire Fans RPG! I'm RegisFan, and standing next to me is FinalAnswer19. Together, he and I will co-host this milestone RPG and celebrate the 15th anniversary of Millionaire Fans! It has been an honor and a privilege to see this community grow over the last 15 years, and the RPG has been a central part of bringing our members together from across the globe to play the game that we all know and love. Today, two more contestants will have the opportunity to sit in the Hot Seat and reach for the heights of our Millionaire money tree. And speaking of the Hot Seat... *The Ask the Host lights activate and shine a light on the special dual host chairs.* We've made some modifications to accommodate two hosts! At least we won't need to share a chair, FinalAnswer19. I think I'd rather stand at a podium than do that! *The audience laughs. The "Ask the Host" lights turn off and the set changes colors yet again to signal the beginning of the game.* So, what are we waiting for? We have two contestants who are waiting anxiously to sit across from FinalAnswer19 and I in the Hot Seat and play for one million dollars. And they are... *The contestant introduction music plays and the camera showcases the contestants in the Ring of Fire as their names are announced.* Prizes and TheLuckySeven! It's time to give one of our contestants a chance to play in the Hot Seat! Here's tonight's first Fastest Finger question. *The studio changes color and the appropriate Fastest Finger music cues play as the question appears.* |
