The former Weakest Link presenter in the US and UK has made a return to the small screen I am rather surprised by as the new host of Countdown, replacing Nick Hewer. What are your thoughts? I don't know how she'll do but I shall be watching the next series, most definitely. www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-56069675Shame she's toning down the nastiness though.

So she's not going to host the Weakest Link revival in Britain?!

That would be great if she would return as host but unfortunately it's highly unlikely. They got Jane Lynch to do the 2020 U.S. Reboot so I would expect the U.K. version to get a new host as well, but who knows?

The BBC doesn’t plan on doing ‘The Weakest Link’ without Anne Robinson hosting it. They were supposed to do a reboot in 2018, but that idea got scrapped because of the difficulties at the taping of the 2017 ‘Children In Need Special’

Well since the US is doing it, it's probably high time that the UK does it too.
