A: Atlantis B: Paris C: Athens D: Torino
You have $300. *the audience applauds as the q1-4 correct sting plays*
A: Atlantis B: Paris C: Athens D: Torino
Yeah, the ancient Olympics were a regular fixture only in Greece, so it only made sense that the inaugural modern Olympics were held there. Right, you've got $300, have a look at question number four, it's worth $500, and you have two lifelines.
The "Battle of Los Angeles" is one of many nicknames that refer to a rivalry between which two NBA teams?

A: Lakers & Clippers B: Celtics & 76ers C: Cavaliers & Warriors D: Spurs & Mavericks
Yes sir, both teams are called Los Angeles. You have $500. *the audience applauds as the q1-4 correct sting plays*
A: Lakers & Clippers B: Celtics & 76ers C: Cavaliers & Warriors D: Spurs & Mavericks
Now this next question would guarantee you at least $1000 if you give me the right answer. It is the last point at which you could go home with nothing, but I'm sure you won't do that; you still have those lifelines. Have a look at question number five...
Which is the largest coral reef in the world?

A: Amazon Reef B: Apo Reef C: Red Sea Coral Reef D: Great Barrier Reef
It is the Great Barrier Reef, you've won $1000. *the audience applauds as the q5 correct cue plays*
A: Amazon Reef B: Apo Reef C: Red Sea Coral Reef D: Great Barrier Reef
*the lights-down cue plays as the studio dims down*
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2000 $1000 $500 $300 $200 $100
Alright, that $1000 is yours to keep no matter what. You've also earned Ask the Host for use on any question from here on out. As well, you're at the point in the game where you can set the next safe haven wherever you like. Now, will you set that safe haven at the $2000 level, or do you wish to play on?

Makes sense to me. Right, this is question number six for $2000. You have those three lifelines if you need them. Here it is.
*the q6 question bed plays in the background*
Which number comes next in the Fibonacci sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, __...?
A: 7 B: 8 C: 10 D: 6

I remember this from middle school math! Every number's the sum of the two preceding numbers, so that'd be 8, final answer.

*the q6 Final Answer cue plays, replacing the question bed in the background*
A: 7 B: 8 C: 10 D: 6
I'm delighted to tell you that your knowledge of middle school math has paid off. It's the right answer for $2000. *the audience applauds as the q6 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: 7 B: 8 C: 10 D: 6
*the q7 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
So I was just pondering what the sequence would look like going backwards from the first 1. This is what I got: ..., -8, 5, -3, 2, -1, 1, 0, 1
So really, it's not much different from the standard sequence, except every other number is negative. I don't really see the practicality in that, but I thought it was cool. *the audience chuckles*
$1 million $500,000 $250,000 $150,000 $75,000 $50,000 $20,000 $10,000 $5000 $2000 $1000 $500 $300 $200 $100
Anyway, you're at $2000 right now. Question number seven is worth $5000 for a correct answer. Would you like to set your second safe haven at $5000?

*the q7 Final Answer cue plays, replacing the question bed in the background*
A: Carter B: Michael C: Clarence D: Hector
Yes sir, it's Clarence Odbody for $5000. *the audience applauds as the q7 correct cue plays and the studio lights come back on*
A: Carter B: Michael C: Clarence D: Hector
*the q8 let's play cue plays as the studio dims down*
I personally have never seen that film, and it feels oddly specific to be asking about Clarence at that level... I dunno. I'm just glad you didn't ask me. *the audience chuckles*

Right, seven questions down, eight to go. Would you like to set the safe haven at $10,000?
